I have flown with all the options which will get me from the UK to KUL or BKK, and after 4 years of flights every other month, I will now only fly Malaysian Airlines Y class. This is the only airline which gives you enough room to fit in the Y class seat not on it like EK. I have a disability to my right leg and can say that its only MH who have a big enough seat in Y class to prevent myself paying for premium economy class prices, the seat is about as big as NZ premium seat. THe service is also second to none with the enrich program already rewarding me with 3 upgrades within the past 2 years.

I flew with malaysian airlines twice and applied for enrich mileage program. Twice I have to call them to claim my mileage credit. I made sure to inform and show my enrich card to the check-in desk. But everytime my mileage was not credited. I don't know if they are cheating customer or their enrich customer service is not doing their job. Then when you call to claim they asked you to fax or email a copy of itinerary or boarding pass or itinerary. I never have any problem with NW, Ke, OZ, Dl air ...

Malaysian Airlines - My mother came to visit me in Japan, traveling from Perth, Australia to Osaka, Japan. I accompanied her to the check-in counter at Kansai International Airport, helping her carry her luggage, and to make sure she departed Japan smoothly.

The MAS Kansai International Airport check-in ground staff of M. Nakai were arrogant, rude, callous, unhelpful, hopeless at communicating in English, and completely insensitive to my 73 year old mother, who is a frail pensioner, and has bee ...

I recently took a flight to Perth Western Australia with Malaysian Airlines as I had previously flown with them a few years back and they seemed ok. This time around I found that the aircraft (boeing 747) was looking tired, the in seat entertainment screens were fuzzy and the legroom for tall people (6ft 3in) like me was atrocious.

The food was ok, but then again as it is sourced from outside caters they generally cannot mess that up but on the return flight they were offering chicken and rice ...

I flew Malaysian Airlines LDN to Langkawi then Langkawi to KL (stopover) then KL to LDN, planes are old and dated, seats not great when compared to new seats on Cathey, in flight entertainment is quite limited compared to more modern planes/systems. Price was right (it was an offer) and cabin crew were good. They failed to get my bags on the KL-Langkawi transfer but bags were delivered to my hotel about 5 hours later after being sent on the next flight. Food is average.

My Malaysian Airlines flight was comfortable enough because of generous seat pitch - but the food on all legs (UK to Australia) could only be described as dreadful!

Malaysian Airlines has good planes, an excellent inflight staff, and a great airport in KL. I cancelled a flight last May. It is now almost November 2008 and I still don't have my refund. They owe me over US$1800, and all I get is a run-around. I've called, written, emailed, gone to the offices to complain...nothing has happened. I don't know what to do next. What's my next recourse? A good airline, but terribly poor customer service!

Terrible customer service. No one follows through and takes care of the problems...at least that has been my experience these past six months.

More leg room for an economy flight.
    Great staff.
    Food Good.
    Drinks readily available.
Having to land in Sydney on a flight from Kula Lumpa to Brisbane, get off with our personal luggage wait in departures, go through security checks yet again. Only to get on same plane same seats again.
Would definately fly with Malaysian Airways again.

Malaysian Airlines deserves my time in doing this review to thank their baby friendliness. I recently traveled (KL-Seoul) with my 8mth old. The airline was more than accommodating with not just multiple on-board requests and assistance but also in transporting bassinet et al. Prior to booking, I called the customer hotline on three separate occasions and each person served my queries with exemplary patience. I cannot recommend MAS more highly to all traveling parents.

Took advantage of the recent Zero Fares from KUL to Penang booked and paid for online. Only paid RM76 for fuel surcharges and taxes. A steal when considering the only thing cheap was the ticket. Nothing was compromised, first rate warm cheerful service, same baggage limit allowance as other passengers.

Over a 19 hour flight, drinks were served 2 times. Water, apple juice, orange juice, and beer were the only options. Good food is the reason I give this flight 2 stars.
Some stewards and stewardesses were unhelpful and neglected to serve us when we requested water. Luggage, when we got it, was broken and several hundred dollars were missing. The zipper was broken, and the insert was torn in half. The money, hidden in a red packet inside some clothing, was gone. Customer service is deplorable ...

If anything goes wrong, their managers will not be able to rectify their problems. I booked our tickets on-line via their website. After receiving the tickets, I noticed that they had debited an incorrect amount from my credit card. I waited for them to contact me but after 10 days of waiting I contacted them only to be told that they knew about it and would shortly be debiting the correct amount. I asked them what date they would be doing it on and they gave me a date. I then contacted my bank ...

I had book the MAS online, the line disconnected during the last transaction. I called credit card centre found that the payment had been successful so I call MAS centre and was passed to more than six operator and can't get an answer whether the flight is confirm or not from them. Then I made second call, found out the flight is confirmed but being rescheduled to earlier time. I didn't receiv any confirmation email or flight re-schedule message from MAS. Very disappointed with MAS customer serv ...

My first time in Malaysia Airlines' Golden Lounge at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport with husband and 4 year old. Absolute pleasure. Every amenity and convenience imaginable. From children's nursery, toys and homely cots to orthopedic massage chairs. Must say the subdued lighting is the most calming of all the lounges I have been in. You feel you're home there. Strongly recommend a visit.

Check in staff super helpful, especially welcome when the taxi ride to airport was less than commendable. Stewards and stewardesses on board were excellent - warm, efficient. The moment I got to my seat I stopped a stewardess for an extra blanket. I had expected her to bring it after all the passengers were seated and settled. Which would be the norm. But I was pleasantly surprised she was back with one in seconds! Even before I finished settling down. Lunch was served in a box... lovely present ...

Had to fly to New Zealand at short notice and found a good deal with Malaysian. The cabin crew on both outward legs were very kind and found me a row of seats to sleep on when I became unwell. Thought food and drink on return leg were very disappointing.

I and my family flew from KUL to Kuching return and were very disappointed with MAS this time round. Aside from the flight out being delayed by almost 2 hours, the meal was pathetic. Instead of the usual hot meal with goodies, we were presented with a cardboard box containing limp sandwiches and a small cake. I was shocked at this and asked the crew what was going on. They were sympathetic and apologized and stated that this was the airline's new policy. What utter cheapskates! Cheating passenge ...

My wife and I were unfortunate enough to book a flight (MH001/23/02/07) on MAS to Kuala Lumpur. Now, from previous experience the airline has been good, however this time it all went wrong and I was shocked at how badly the MAS I remember has degraded. When the aircraft developed a number of problems on the tarmac they kept us onboard for 2 hours, then in the terminal for another 4. They called armed police to the terminal when some of the families started complaining, but in a terminal made for ...
