Malaysian Airlines deserves my time in doing this review to thank their baby friendliness. I recently traveled (KL-Seoul) with my 8mth old. The airline was more than accommodating with not just multiple on-board requests and assistance but also in transporting bassinet et al. Prior to booking, I called the customer hotline on three separate occasions and each person served my queries with exemplary patience. I cannot recommend MAS more highly to all traveling parents.

Took advantage of the recent Zero Fares from KUL to Penang booked and paid for online. Only paid RM76 for fuel surcharges and taxes. A steal when considering the only thing cheap was the ticket. Nothing was compromised, first rate warm cheerful service, same baggage limit allowance as other passengers.

Over a 19 hour flight, drinks were served 2 times. Water, apple juice, orange juice, and beer were the only options. Good food is the reason I give this flight 2 stars.
Some stewards and stewardesses were unhelpful and neglected to serve us when we requested water. Luggage, when we got it, was broken and several hundred dollars were missing. The zipper was broken, and the insert was torn in half. The money, hidden in a red packet inside some clothing, was gone. Customer service is deplorable ...

If anything goes wrong, their managers will not be able to rectify their problems. I booked our tickets on-line via their website. After receiving the tickets, I noticed that they had debited an incorrect amount from my credit card. I waited for them to contact me but after 10 days of waiting I contacted them only to be told that they knew about it and would shortly be debiting the correct amount. I had book the MAS online, the line disconnected during the last transaction. I called credit card centre found that the payment had been successful so I call MAS centre and was passed to more than six operator and can't get an answer whether the flight is confirm or not from them. Then I made second call, found out the flight is confirmed but being rescheduled to earlier time. I didn't receiv any confirmation email or flight re-schedule message from MAS. My first time in Malaysia Airlines' Golden Lounge at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport with husband and 4 year old. Absolute pleasure. Every amenity and convenience imaginable. From children's nursery, toys and homely cots to orthopedic massage chairs. Must say the subdued lighting is the most calming of all the lounges I have been in. You feel you're home there. Strongly recommend a visit.

Check in staff super helpful, especially welcome when the taxi ride to airport was less than commendable. Stewards and stewardesses on board were excellent - warm, efficient. The moment I got to my seat I stopped a stewardess for an extra blanket. I had expected her to bring it after all the passengers were seated and settled. Which would be the norm. But I was pleasantly surprised she was back with one in seconds! Even before I finished settling down. Lunch was served in a box... lovely present ...

Had to fly to New Zealand at short notice and found a good deal with Malaysian. The cabin crew on both outward legs were very kind and found me a row of seats to sleep on when I became unwell. Thought food and drink on return leg were very disappointing.

I and my family flew from KUL to Kuching return and were very disappointed with MAS this time round. Aside from the flight out being delayed by almost 2 hours, the meal was pathetic. Instead of the usual hot meal with goodies, we were presented with a cardboard box containing limp sandwiches and a small cake. I was shocked at this and asked the crew what was going on. My wife and I were unfortunate enough to book a flight (MH001/23/02/07) on MAS to Kuala Lumpur. Now, from previous experience the airline has been good, however this time it all went wrong and I was shocked at how badly the MAS I remember has degraded. We have just returned from our first trip to Malaysia and Singapore. Malaysian Airlines were superb. Travelling with our 8 year old son, we were escorted onto every flight first, which was a real bonus. Although our flight from Heathrow to Penan was delayed by 4 hours it was not a problem, there were plenty of shops to keep you busy and we received £45 in food vouchers.

Malaysian Airlines is quite a superb airline to fly with. In all the years of using the airline flying to Malaysia back and forth, I have not had a particularly bad experience to write about. I must in fact commend them on their excellent service and polite in flight manner to passengers and their particular attention to our children.

We flew with Malaysian 6 times in 2 weeks touring Malaysia and all 6 flights were on time and excellent, the cabin crew are excellent always serve you with a smile would definitely recommend to anyone for visits to the far east.

Excellent friendly service, whatever request I made the answer was invariably yes. Although on one of my flights to the far east, I was on a code sharing flight with Malaysian Airlines, they still managed to get me two flights by the emergency doors with extra legroom, when I had only made a casual request. The food and legroom make this airline a favourite, I do fairly frequent long haul flights and have used many other airlines.

Overall a very pleasant experience with Malaysian Airlines despite very long flights. I did notice that the service from KL to Europe was not as good as from Auckland or to Auckland from KL. This may be due to numbers of passengers and numbers of crew to attend to them.
The experience was way better than economy and in my opinion worth the extra money.

Malaysian Airline only seem to be worried about money and not customers or their children. I flew with Malaysian Airlines, and what a bad choice that was! I bought a ticket for my wife and two daughters, who were under five years of age.

I flew with Malaysian Airlines from Kuala Lumpur to London. I had three broken ribs and a broken collar bone. The staff did not help me with my request for a more comfortable seat, and I was in a lot of pain. Their office had promised me a more comfortable seat.

I have traveled to Delhi on 17/12/2005 by Malaysian Airlines flight no MH 0190. I have received my luggage in broken conditions, that might been due to, they keptheavyluggage on my bag. I received trolley in a damaged condition and nobody was present during the delivery.

Malaysian Airlines are so bad. The stopover hotel in KL (ex Perth) was too noisy for sleep and there was no breakfast in the morning. Nobody cared. To make matters deplorable when I arrived in Xiamen, China my suitcase was not there. I still do not have it (one day later).

Malaysian Airline are excellent, and I am travelling with them again soon. They are well worth going with, and I have travelled to Australia with many other airlines such as Qantas, Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines, but none compared to the excellent standard of service we received during our 14 hour flight with Malaysian Airlines. I have never met more gracious cabin crew than the Malaysian Airlines crew. On board a plane my legs have never been so comfortable.
