    Good Points: Food, welcome, Ambience

    General comments: I know people will think I have a pecuniary interest in this place but I don't! I just can't believe how good it is. On arrival they welcomed me, asked how my bandaged hand was and then recommended the special of braised beef in red wine - fresh on the menu today. Blimey. thickly sliced roast beef in a rich onion and red wine sauce with a generous side plate of thinly cut half roasted half fried unpeeled potatoes (plenty of nutrients left in there!), and spiced brocollie al dente and carrot juliene. Fabulous! All for under £6. Incredibly good value. It's now my Cardiff Bay secret hang out! Don't tell anyone will you!!!

    Several businesses have failed at this setting largely because it is just a stones throw away from the heart of the Cardiff Bay eatery jungle. It's a fab place, on two floors, with lovely wooden seating, flooring and bar.

    The staff were fabulously friendly and welcoming on this first visit. Playing safe I went with the day's special of a chicken rogan josh. The standard menu is very 'standard' (find it on the web) so I thought I'd see what they could do.
