Good Points: Battery life that actually lasts :OTouch flow that worksA phone with the world at your fingertips

Bad Points: hoestly windows mobile but its actually ok once used to it so... none

General comments: HTC Touch 3G - Orange Varient.I ordered this phone in a comlete gamble from phones for you as this phone was on promotion and i needed a new contract. It came next day and i was excited. Once opened i was surprised. basic packaging compared to other htc handsets but it doesnt matter because this phone is ace. cannot fault it. The phone has oranges design put onto it so its a brown instead of blue touch flow but it looks smarter. It does not have google maps or any other program on but it is easy to install and has been very efficient and reliable i run skype msn and google maps no problem. This phone looks weird but beautiful. sounds strange but i really like the look of it. it feels strong and is sturdy.I was worried about ease of use this phone is windows mobile so if your not familiar be careful it takes a while to get used too. i was ok tho and so far has worked wonders. It has a bright clear screen and looks impressive compared to other leading phones. this is easily a iphone competitor but doesnt have an apple on the back. touchflow is fine, no lag and is smooth compared to previous models.A very sweet phone definately worth buying

HTC Touch 3G Preview - PDA-phones
18 Sep 2008

Summary
htc touch 3g review: Of the three new smartphones announced by HTC, the Touch 3G looks destined to suffer middle child syndrome. Its spec sheet falls short of the mouth-watering Touch HD, and its price won't be as attractive as the low-end Viva.

Pros
TouchFLO 2D is great, Good performance, Excellent battery life, Great online experience, No substantial internal storage, No physical keypad, Charging port doubles as headphone socket

Cons
No substantial internal storage, No physical keypad, Charging port doubles as headphone socket

17 Oct 2008

Summary
Touch became slimmer and smarter, and even more speed is also okay this time.

Verdict
The phone has again been provided by SpeedShop, as they are the official distributors in our country. Since the handset will become available as of November, the one we had for testing wasn't final yet, but according to the manufacturer it was in a ...

First Look: HTC Touch 3G
18 Nov 2008

Summary
A relatively lightweight Windows Mobile phone with most of the bells and whistles, but not the outlandish $1,000 price tag.

Verdict
For one thing, it's not as chunky as the Touch Pro, or as heavy at 96grams, which is featherweight compared to the iPhone or Touch Pro. The Touch 3G also has a decent sized 2.8in screen

HTC Touch 3G
26 Nov 2008

Summary
Amongst the numerous HTC handsets this year, the unassuming Touch 3G may not make the strongest impact, but it is certainly one of our favourites.

Pros
TouchFLO 2D is great, Good performance, Excellent battery life, Great online experience

Cons
No substantial internal storage, No physical keypad, Charging port doubles as headphone socket

Verdict
The Touch 3G is a solid performer that will make a great business handset for anyone who doesn't require mechanical input. We, however, would have liked to have seen this smartphone with a keyboard for more accurate messaging.

HTC Touch 3G
19 Nov 2008

Pros
Compact design, TouchFLO 2D interface, HSDPA-capable, A2DP Bluetooth, GPS

Cons
Uninspiring, can't type using fingers, buttons are a little thin, average display, proprietary headphone jack

Verdict
The Touch 3G improves on its predecessor by delivering a smooth user experience, but there is nothing else to really get excited about.

HTC Touch 3G

The Touch 3G is an attractive Windows Mobile smart phone that doesn't disappoint in the speed or responsiveness stakes. It's relatively easy to use and has an impressive set of features, but it isn't a great enough advance on the original Touch to ...

Pros
Stylish design ; speedy and responsive ; good range of features

Cons
Small screen ; glitches with TouchFLO and Windows Mobile interface

Verdict
The HTC Touch 3G is a decent handset with some impressive features, but it's not a great leap forward from the original Touch and isn't really good enough to seriously challenge the iPhone 3G

These problems seem to be very common with this phone, Nokia should scrap this model as most problems just cannot be resolved, its very frustrating when your in the middle of a call and the back comes off, battery drops out.

BlackBerry Storm
2 Dec 2008

I recently upgraded from an N95, choosing the Storm over the iPhone. I played with it for an entire day, tried to set up email, use all the features, but it really is a poor phone in my opinion.

I tried to give it a chance, but it's just so horrible to use for me! The touch screen - like the idea of 'click' feedback, but it's really stiff near the edges of the screen and the devise often selects random parts of the screen in my experience.

To write a message, takes about 4...

HTC Hero

Excellent phone. Saw a friends in and had to get one. The latest ROM update has improved performance and it now runs flawlessly. Just sold my Tomtom on eBay as the CoPilot live app (£26 extra) has easily replaced it.

The only negative I've found is the camera is hopeless in low light conditions.

If you're looking for an iPhone but don't want to pay a fortune then go for the Hero - it's not a compromise, I wouldn't swap it for an iPhone now!

Blackberry Storm is pocket size and has good call quality, you are able to sent text message very easy and using yahoo is great but only when you turn the screen landscape. If you're on the move and need a out of office tool this is the phone for you.
