Good Points: Excellent pics, large LCD, easy to use, attractive.
Bad Points: Can eat batteries so best use good rechargables.
General comments: I have had a HP PhotoSmart C618 for nearly 2 years and it has been great. It is my second as I dropped the first and damaged the zoom lens but HP customer support had me a new one out within days and with virtually no hassle. This camera looks and feels weighty like a normal camera (I like to 'feel' the camera so in my opinion a plus point). The LCD is large and allows you to view and edit pics on the go so if you don't like it, just delete and take again. Love the different modes and it gives a great photo.
Allows for sound recording over pics after the shot but it is not a video cam so if you want video look elsewhere.
I can't fault this camera and at the lower pixel range of camera's of today this still produces outstanding pics for anyones needs. Allows for about 56 pics in 'good' mode and 26 in 'best' mode. If you're looking for a great camera, you're looking at it.
