    I had a completely new central heating system fitted in March 2008. The boiler was a Glow worm flexicom 30cx model. It Worked fine until January 2009 when it developed a leak, the leak stemmed from a small rubber pipe that perished... 10 months old and it perished.
    Its now November 2009 and its leaking again 10 months have passed from the original repair. This repair I find is warranties for 30 days.
    The boiler has 2 year guarantee, but Vallant service centre who supply the warranty want £113 in labour charges to attend and begin a repair. They manufacture the boiler.
    I rang the company and asked to put through to customer care / complaints. The main switchboard could not do this they were no connected to the customer care/ section they have a new phone system, I was promised action I am still waiting to speak to customer care.
    My recommendation is to buy anything but a Glow worm flexicom 30cx boiler.

    Glowworm are totaly unreliable for ever leaking and replacing parts after 5 years replacing parts every year heat exchanges replaced three times total pial off rubbish and its leaking again i am at my wits end and now looking for a new replacment
