I had my boiler 4 years ago and in all honesty had no trouble with it it was fitted as part of a complete new system which i fitted myself and had a plumber to install the gas as a newbie i took some advise from the plumber who did the gas as to rad size and pipe work runs he recommended this boiler to me and said he rarely fits any other boiler apart from w b the most impressive think i like about this boiler is how flexible the controls are the fact it can be range rated and the fact that its a fully modulating boiler so that its always running at its least expensive setting to keep you warm Bottom line i would recomend this boiler to anyone its like anything you can buy a new car and out of thousands that are made you are bound to get problems with some of them no matter who makes them some faults could be down to instalation and some just genuine faults with the boiler.

Fitted loads of these as a Gas Safe Installer, very good value for money, they are just a cheaper alternative to the Vaillant. Good boiler for a good price.

I have had my Glowworm Ultracom 24 cxi Condensing Combi Boiler for 3 years. I have never had any issues with it and as it looks quite stylish with its light up digital controls it doesn't have to go in a cupboard although mine is. Brilliant boiler!!

I have fitted loads of these boilers as a plumber ,and very rare do we have any problems with them .A lot of it is down to the installation,a lot of the problems come from not flushing out the system good enough prior to the new boiler being fitted

Glowworm Ultracom 24 cxi Condensing Combi Boiler - My old [10 years]Worcester combi developed a leak which I was informed by a plumber was a common fault with them. I was never happy with it's performance as it took ages for the hot water to get through, plus the flow rate was very poor. After searching through hundreds of different reveiws trying to make a decision on what boiler to replace it with, I couldn't make my mind up. I then decided to leave the choice to the heating engineer, He recommended two models, the Valiant [little expensive]or the Potterton. He assured me the Potterton was a good buy, so that's the one I went for. What a good choice that turned out to be. Very smart looking boiler, easy clear controls, great flow rate, loads of hot water. Just what I was hoping for. So glad I went for this boiler. I would recommend the Potterton Ultracom 24cxi to anyone who is thinking about replacing their present combi.
