This review is my experience of LINk. I took their super course CBT, mod 1, mod 2 training, cost £815 for 4 days plus 2 additional days (half days) at the test centre. There are 3 main instructors who know their stuff and are patient. The problem link have is that they are completely useless at booking tests for their customers. Bearing in mind the entire reason for taking a super course is to get a test and pass, link fail miserably. It really doesn’t matter how wonderful the instructors may be if link just can’t book tests in a reasonable time and this failure is entirely down to the 2 guys that run their office. In my particular case they managed to book 1 mod 2 test in 4 months. I am not kidding. I was on the phone to them regularly chasing for tests and all they say is that you are on the list. Apparently I have been third in line for the last 6 weeks (obviously BS). I feel like I wasted my time and money. Avoid

I am very happy with this company. I have done an intensive das course here and i found the staff very helpful, i found it a very good place to learn as you have alot of fun banter between the instructors, and it in turn makes you feel relaxed which helps you concentrate on the riding aspect of learning. all in all i am very happy with the standard of service that was given here so would recomend it to my friends just as a couple of them recomended it to me.

Did my cbt at The Link Motorcycle Training, Chelmsford, Essex and was ok just for that. would not go back for DAS training. Made other arrangements for that as so put off there.
Very limited parking
Myself and another lady I met on the day felt there was a touch of male Chauvinism from some of the employees.
moped I was put on-kept cutting out
Radio equipment very poor quality which meant you could not hear the instructor when out on the road.

Hello.
Unfortunately I never heard from link again. In the end I gave up calling them and put the whole bike thing on hold over the winter.
I will be calling various training providers in February / March. Sadly I will probably have to book 2 more days training, i.e. 1 day and a test day. So more expense thanks to links incompetence.
On a more positive note.
If link haven’t provided you with the training that you paid for you could contact your credit card company and ask for a charge back on 2 thirds of their fee as you haven’t received the goods or service that you paid for.
Your credit card company is liable under the consumer credit act.

Hi There,
Did you manage to re book your test through link? Ive had very similar problem booked 3 day das course with them, failed the mod 1 around 3 weeks ago and they havent bothered re booking.
Strange thing is there phone line has now been cut off, it looks like they may have gone in to liquidation. Did they owe you any training? i only got 1 and half days training so pretty p1ssed off!
