    Good Points: Reasonable menu selection.
    Food was enjoyable.


    Bad Points: They concentrate on their take-away service to the detriment of sit-down customers


    General comments: Despite the pub name this is a Chinese restaurant on the high street of the Old Town in Stevenage. Parking is available on teh High Street (but come early to get a car space).

    We went for the set menu and were early into the restaurant to avoid the worst of the 8.30pm crowds and inevitable take-away brigade.

    The food was reasonable , service friendly enough (a little slow but nothing to get upset about) and all was going well.

    Then the first of the take-away brigade arrived and we basically then spent the next 40 minutes watching meal after meal (ie our main courses) go out the front door.

    Great for them - not for us.
    We weren't the only table getting rather ratty about this situation and suffice to say that no apology was offered -presumably standard practice for take-away to take priority over sit-down customers.

    If you like waiting ages for ok food then this is the place to go. If you want a more discerning meal head elsewhere.

    Ironic that if it had been a better service we would have gone back as repeat custom.
