    Good Points: Beautiful tranquil location out in the countryside with a real sense of being off the beaten track. Cottages that really deserve their 5-star rating - well designed, furnished and equipped. Very reasonable price.


    Bad Points: There was nothing especially negative. There was no food blender in the kitchen, but that was only a minor oversight, and the proprietors were willing to lend us theirs.


    General comments: Hall Hills self catering cottages are very attractive places to stay for people who want a quiet place to stay in the countryside with a genuine rustic atmosphere that is also quite luxurious. The five cottages in converted stone barns sleep up to five people so they would be ideal for either romantic breaks or family holidays.
