    Good Points: "Zoned" steaming works very well. Compartments big enough for a family of 3.


    Bad Points: Cost, size, capacity.


    General comments: This Morphy Richards Intellisteam 48780 cannot handle more than 2 portions of pasta. Rice for more than 3 is also a problem and the tiers cannot be increased as they don't stack. Overpriced due to it's lack of versatility and inability to cater for families.

    I have just returned my Morphy Richards Intellisteam! I bought it at the Ideal Home Exhibition where it was being demonstrated and looked good. However, I found that it took twice as long to steam the vegetables than my previous steamer, 45 minutes just for broccoli or cauliflower!

    After having Tefals for years we changed to a Morphy Richards Intellisteam 48780 because the Tefal we would have bought was not in stock, then we saw this one, liked the look of it and bought it. It is slightly more awkward to empty when finished, but I feel this is just a case of getting used to it being different. A recommended buy unless you are on a budget.
