    Good Points: Sadly none.


    Bad Points: Not up to the job.


    General comments: I purchased this Maplin Barebone Twin Tuner Freeview DTR box with high hopes but sadly NONE were realised. The Barebone Twin Tuner Freeview DTR is for use of a better word, USELESS as a TV recorder. After three days of willing this box to work, interchanging hard drives and triple checking everything I just couldn't get it to do what it was meant to. It has a very poor menu which looks like it was put together by a child, looses channels at will and whirrs itself into a close meltdown when switched on. I don't think I have ever had an item that has been so ill-suited to the job!
