Good Points: 1. Mouse is conformed to my hand. 2. Battery charger is a great feature. 3. Keyboard iTouch functions are quick and easy to use. 4. Forward/back buttons on the mouse are quite handy. 5. Mouse wheel is pretty slick and smooth unlike other brands like Fellowes or Microsoft. 6. Volume controls and the media player buttons on the middle make it quick to control music.
Bad Points: 1. It takes me a while to put the mouse in the cradle just perfectly so it can charge. I have to mess with it for a bit 'til I hear the connectors come together. I didn't have this problem when I first bought it. 2. I think you know this one by now - the price. 3. iTouch software doesn't work with Firefox. Well, except if you only want to use the homepage of Firefox. With IE I have it set to open eBay, the homepage, newzbin.com, etc. without a problem. Logitech told me they only support Opera right now. 4. For some reason the iTouch software causes a failure when starting Unreal Tournament. I don't know why this is, so if you play this game then make sure you kill iTouch before starting the game. I know it's caused by iTouch because several people have had this same problem.
General comments: Here's the lowdown on the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX - the mouse/keyboard is pretty easy to use, but it comes with a hefty price. If you don't mind spending $100 on this product (or $50 on eBay), then you should definitely get this one. I've used Microsoft's and Fellowes' keyboard/mouse combos and Logitech definitely surpasses them in the wireless duo category.
Note: The picture on this review is wrong. The keyboard is slightly different, but only in looks of the volume control and the mouse is not the same. The mouse that comes with this product is the MX500, which is a lot nicer and has more buttons on it. Check Logitech's site for the real picture of the Logitech MX Duo.

The Logitech Cordless keyboard is satisfactory, the reception distance is about 2 metres and works fine. The battery life is very good for the keyboard - i have had the keyboard for over 6 months and have not changed it but the mouse battery will last about 4 months.
The software that comes with it is bugged! The program that allows you to use the 3 hot keys causes more problems than it's worth. It de-stabalises the OS ( i'm using W98 2nd edition), causing it to freeze and the most annoying i ...
