Great service from the holiday shop Hartlepool- helped me choose a holiday destination as I had no idea where to go(I asked for warm weather, good excursions, good scenery, fairly quiet hotel with not many kids around) She could give personal recommendations about Tenerife which i liked, was confident in what she was telling me and really friendly(this being our first flight and holiday abroad in January; Panoramica Heights, Costa Adeje was a perfect choice for us). “Do not rely on Thomson's assurances ”

We booked a cruise and stay travelling to Jamaica on the Dreamliner from Newcastle some 9 months ago on the proviso that the aircraft would be the Dreamliner as we did not want to add another 2 hours on to our journey having to land in Manchester. “Holiday with Thompsons”

Have not used Thompsons for a holiday for a couple of years,got fed up of the rude cabin crew. “Costly Thomson airport help”

Having arrived at Manchester Airport for an Early morning 6.50am Flight to Spain we asked one of the Thomson assistants for help because we were late arriving due to a main road closure, although we were still at leased one hour before departure. Thomson are a dreadful uncaring greedy company. Don't ever use them. I've spent thousands with them and when I had a problem they treated me with total contempt and refused any refund. That's theft in my book. When I aired my views on their Facebook page they were even sad enough to introduce trolls to annoy me and try to justify their sick and sad attitude. Then they blocked me from the site because I spoke the truth. To all out there, book your hols yourselves on line, it's cheaper and safer and if something goes wrong at least you'll get a refund from the hotel and airport parking like I did. Book a package hol with Thomson and you'll get nothing back. No doubt Thomas Cook and the rest are exactly the same. Book the next one yourselves folks and use these outfits only for flying, if you don't have a choice.

“Excess Baggage Charge”

The hotel was absolutely fantastic, faultless. It's such a shame the same cannot be said about the service received from Thomson. We were charged excess baggage for hand luggage to the tune of £72.00. No mention of the weight limit on the tickets. Thomson asked us to sign to say we had a read a copy of the terms and conditions, yet were unable to supply them, they advised they were on the website. “Gong down the pan.”

We have been loyal and satisfied customers of Thomson for many years. We have at least three package holidays with Thomson each year. However, the current booked holidays for 2015 will be our last with them. Service, customer care and Pre-travel help is now non existent. MONEY is their only priority and they have no respect for customers whatsoever. In fact, once a booking is made they are no longer interested. “Dirty tricks campaign”

After visiting egypt for our September holiday we thought it would be nice to spend Christmas there. We checked on thomsons website and it was there. So we booked there and then as it stated "only 2 rooms left" a month later our holiday has dropped by £400. We have contacted thomsons about this and the standard letter came back stating. I flew out to skanes family resort in Tunisia on the 1/10/14. All I can say this was the holiday experience from hell. my family and I booked this holiday 1 year before we travelled so i had plenty of time to save up as this holiday is costing me £2800. “Hoped for better service”

“Like Flying On a Dirty Old Bus...”

We booked with Thomson in the Premium cabin hoping we would be on the new Dreamliner aircraft, unfortunately this was not the case and we were on one of the 767 aircraft. What I didn't realize until on the day was that they are still using old First Choice 767 aircraft, and when I say old I mean the Aircraft looks like it hasn't had an update since it rolled off the production line nearly 20 years ago. Their telephone complaint service is also one way communication. “Appalling Flights and Airport Reps”

Had so many bad experiences with Thomoson, but this time is the last. I'm never using them again. Flew to Majorca in June from Manchester. “Taxi Transfer”

Do not pay Thomson extra for taxi transfers,it is likely you get sent a minibus. Thomson sent minibus not taxi - not suitable for anybody who has difficulty climbing stairs.
