“Excessive amendment fees”

I know rules are there for reasons but come on £50 because you have a name wrong when booking.. £50 for pressing a delete button 6 times and another 6 buttons to correct it!! I am not asking for a change 2 weeks before the holiday but 3 months prior!! Not only that, I am a repeat customer and have spent over £15000 over the past several years. My elderly parents made the mistake of going into a Thomson travel agent to book a flight to come and visit me in New Zealand. I had looked on Singapore Airlines website that same morning and there were flights on there for 1,986 pounds. When I spoke to my mum that evening she told me they had paid 2,600 pounds!!! Sorry to see so many complaints and disappointed customers. We had no problems fortunately. Check in straightforward. Flight fine, normal seat- have had worse leg room. Transfers on time, Hotel great, had researched this beforehand.. Reps ok the usual selling methods . Excursions not cheap but very good guides and experiences. “Terrible communication, total lack of interest”

We were booked to stay at the Hotel Natura Palace in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote by Thomson Travel but when we got off the plane we were told that the hotel was full and we were booked in at the Hesperia isolated miles away. When we objected that it was not we wanted to be we were told that we had no choice and were bundled into a taxi. “RIU Palace Macao”

Stayed for 2 weeks, great place, good food, great staff and the best animators. The problem for us was with the transfers to and from Punta Cana airport. After a long flight the last thing you want to find is that the coach you had been sent out to find in a vast carpark was not there at all. However, they refuse to refund a £50 name-change administration fee, despite the fact that it was made the day AFTER they maintain they started to inform customers of the cancellation! We booked to go to Cordial Sunny Golf bungalows in Maspalomas. Booking was confirmed and paid in full 6 weeks before trave. “Disgusting attitude on flights”

Twice I've flown with thomson airways and both times the on-flight crew members have had the most appalling attitude I have ever encountered in human beings! They look at their customers like dirt and treat them just like it. “Customer service are atrocious ”

Had an ongoing case for over 4 months with this company, they attempted to issue a £110 compensation for a holiday that cost over £2400. Since refusing this amount my emails/phone calls have been ignored. Please avoid using this organisation. Holiday flaws included; flight delays, check in service non operational, power cuts in hotel, facilities non operational in hotel, food poisoning. the list goes on and on. “Pathetic customer service with moronic reps”

Following a fall in the shower resulting in abroken leg in a Thomson Gold hotel we called the 24/7 helpline and still are waiting for reply despite their calls being recorded they have no trace of our call. Rep in hotel continually had to be reminded who we were even though we visited her twice a day for 5 days, I had a cast on my leg and was in a wheelchair. I went with my family to the Cape Verde in Aoril 2015 on a 'platinum' holiday and we were all totally taken aback by the complete lack of customer service given by Thomson. We got nothing more than we would have expected by booking the flights and hotel independently ourselves expect an inflated price. Although just about adequate, this apartment is in sad need of upgrade and repair. There were many cables just hanging from the walls. Booked with thomson online, 2 weeks all inclusive to Mexico, departing 01.12.2015. Decided to treat ourselves and upgraded the flight. This gave me the option to pre select seats, we also both need assistance at the airports.
