    Good Points: there aren't any.

    Bad Points: They treat customers with contempt.

    General comments: Thomson fly are a disgrace, after failing to put my luggage on a flight from Manchester to Dubrovnic, their agent then refused to deliver the luggage to my hotel, then the UK customer services told me it was nothing to do with them and hung up the phone. I had to fetch the luggage 3 days late form the airport, it took a whole day, if I had not hired a car then I would not have got my luggage at all. When I returned to UK I received a pitiful 70 quid from their insurers and Thomson won ' t answer my emails or the phone.

    A 4 hour wait at Gatwick to check in. As the company that Thompson sub contract to had problems with the IT system. No Thompson reps around. ATLANTIC HOLIDAYS had customers on the Thompsons flight and pulled out their customers & got them on the flight first. Only given one bottle of water in 4 hours. Hadno tome airside to get anything as the plane was leaving. Had paid for meal on flights but did not get it on return. Cabin crew avided telling us until we asked. No realm alternative- - just ...

    Just got back from my cruise on Thomson Spirit booked via Thompson Holidays. Had a fab time.Cabin was on 4th deck which was ideal.Lots to do on board.Food great and all staff very friendly

    I have been travelling with Thomson (Lunn Poly) for quite a few years and have never had any problems until this year. It seems that Thomson and First Choice (who I would never choose to use) have merged together, unfortunately I dont think this is in Thomsons favour.     Went to the riu Montego Bay in April with thomsons. The flight out was a nightmare seated seperately to my wife despite checking in early. First drinks not served until 2 hrs into the flight, when we were given sandwiches later they were still frozen, i pointed this out to the steward who replied indignantly well your the first to complain. a lady sitting 3 rows from me corrected him saying numerous people had complained to which he became very angry and accused her of shouting at him. a real s ...

    My wife and I plus two elderly family members spent a week at the Corona Playa in Lanzarote in early April. It was a Thomson Gold hotel and was fantastic. I would have given a full ten rating if we hadn't had a 6 hour delay at the airport on our return journey. However, the pilot explained everything very well and got us home as quickly and safely as possible.

    flew with thomsons from gatwick to la romana on 22/03/ 09 this flight suffered a six hour delay given £8 food vouchers which were not enough.NOthomsons reps to inform you of the situation all the passengers were becoming angry at this situation .we had booked to premium class for this flight at a cost of £398 only to find out that we were not sitting together(the prmium upgrade is not worth the money ) my wifewho requested a gluten free meal was told that there was no gluten free ...

    Cruise and Stay on Thomson Celebration and Tenerife Dec 2008 - Jan 2009. The cruise was wonderful as per usual, the Hotel "Bahia Princess" was luxurious but ridiculously expensive. Even at the poor exchange rate it worked out at nearly £10 for a G+T and a pint of Lager.The Thomson Reps were a pair of Numpty's and as useful as a one legged man in a backside kicking competition.     We booked a Tailor made holiday in January this year, choosing The Mango Bay Barbados and upgraded seats. Paid in full at the end of February. The holiday was cancelled by the tour operater 2weeks ago, the excuse being the hotel was overbooked. this meant they had vacancies in January, took our money in February but didn't reserve a room.     Happy with the Green Oasis and Thomson Holidays, very clean.Liked food, night shows, WEATHER, Trips out esp. Sioux City excellent value for 50E. Small spiral staircase, not easy for some-one with bad eyes. No Kettle, used a pot to boil water for cup of tea. No sink or bath plugs. Nylon filled pillows made me itch Told to meet in reception at 10a.m by Rep and 6 of us went and found her giving talk in bar area. Directions to pick-up points for trips very vague.

    Thomson Holidays did manage to get us there eventually. Why lie, we mess up from time to time, many people incurred significant extra expense through being delayed and they didn't even offer a free drink. I feel we received terrible service, will never book through Thomson again. They should remember how many other people a dissatisfied customer tells about a poor experience. They blamed weather conditions for making us travel to another airport and we met other travellers from that other air ...

    Went to Kavos with Thomson Holidays and it was literally the most enjoyable experience i have ever had great communication and the reps knew exactly the aproach to take. Why order VIP lounges and everything its your own fault for spending your money poorly.

    Booking a flight with Thomson has been one of the worst experiences in my life. That is saying something, since I travel extensively for business and pleasure. Their website may contain wrong information. I was also wrongly quoted for excess baggage from their call center, and then an email saying that I was only allowed 10kg baggage IN TOTAL on the flight - that takes the biscuit!I hadn't yet set foot on one of their planes but had already decided that I will NEVER AGAIN book a flight with Th ...

    Thomson Holidays Plane had problems, was cancelled in the end, rather be safe than sorry. Where were the Thomsons Reps to sort everyone out! Had to have coaches to take us to Manchester and offered 1 free drink on the plane. Instead of arriving in Paphos Xmas eve,didn't arrive untill 1-30am Xmas morning. This is the worst experience we have ever had with Thomsons.

    24th december 08,Birmingham to Paphos .Plane had problems,rather be safe than sorry so not complaining about that,but where was the help when we needed it?no reps anywhere,no drinks or food vouchers given.then we had to go to Manchester,we did get 1 free drink when we finally got on plane.It was a complete nightmare.Always try and travel with Thomsons because we could rely on them,but this time they really let us down.

    Booked a holiday from 21st December to 2nd Jan in Sharm El Sheikh, we booked in March 08, a few weeks before we left we received our tickets and noticed that no onward transfer was booked... phoned them and were told that in July the transfers were removed and they had sent letter out (we never received one), they declined to get us on the transfer coach and told us we would have to make our own way in a taxi... we are still waiting to be reimbursed for the original booking.     We went on holiday in June to Tenerife for one week just for a break - we were advised to book our seats on the plane at a charge, got to the airport to be told the computer system was down so it was a free for all for a seat - ( also told we would be reimbursed ) pick up at airport was fine, the rep on our tour excursions went walkabout and we had to rely on other reps from other travel companies to help us!Requested a pick up back to the airport - confirmed, and they left 11 of us stranded at ...

    We booked a holiday to Greece in January to go in July and Thomson rang up two days before departure and told us our hotel was overbooked and that we were to be transferred to another hotel in another resort. This was a tiny, quiet resort - complete opposite of what we'd originally booked. Thomson told us this was our only option or we'd have to cancel our holiday.     They keep on sending me to each other from one person to another, they do not put their customers first. I had to wait 20 minutes to get served because they had their lunch break. In my experience, people do not seem bothered and do not have the skills to make sure their customers will come back.
