I travelled to palm bay studios in Pefkos with my sister and we have stayed at many places in Pefkos but this was without doubt the worst. We found the studio to be very dirty on arrival. The room was not cleaned while we were there and the towels were changed once in 10 days. The bins were not changed daily..surely a health hazard in such heat.we paid 58 euros for 1 weeks air con which is over the top.We found the staff unfriendly and unhelpful and we felt intimidated when we had to complain due to our electrics going,he was not happy at having to change our room. The location is fantastic but it is such a shame more care is not taken over cleanliness.

Value for money. Palm Bay is a 10 min stroll from the centre of Pefkos. Spacious rooms, cleaned daily. Large pool with free sun loungers and parasols. The beach is a few steps away from the pool and is quiet and free of sun loungers, vendors and watersports. The pool bar/restaurant area is open from about 8.30 until midnight. The pool area is open from 9am til 7pm. There is a supermarket on your doorstep as well as the bus stop. Air conditioning is available at an extra charge, I paid 98 euro fo ...

We have been going to Pefkos for many years and have tried a number of the restaurants including the Enigma and Nostalgia. By far the best is the Greek House, food always excellent, service friendly. Over the years we have made friends with the owners. On our last visit in June 2008 we were surprised, pleased to learn that he had opened another restaurant in Rhodes Town called "Divine" in the area of Midia (near the Hotel) which we dined at and although the menu was different we found this to b ...

We were dissappointed that the apartments were not cleaned regularly enough to our liking, also that after the first couple of days they only changed the bins every other day. We did it ourselves as you cannot leave rubbish long in 40 degrees!
Also we had to buy the Air con for the whole week which was an additional 70 euros, its not a genuine option in such heat
I wont go back to Palm beach, fickle staff service and minimal cleaning of apartments.

I found Pefkos a very enjoyable place for a holiday although the actual resort was not for children, as there were not enough going on for them. It is ideal for couples. Lindos and Rhodes were nice places to visit. If I went back I think I would hire a car to get around the Island a lot more. The beach at Palm Bay Hotel left a lot to be desired as it was littered and dirty and not a place for sunbathing. But from the places I visited I think if I went back there I would still stay in Pefko ...

Overall despite the few bad points about Palm Bay Aparthotel, the good points by far outweigh the bad!!

I for one will definately be coming back to this hotel because if your looking for a relaxing holiday with all the amenities locally and a short stroll into the main drag, which is also resonably quiet compared with say Faliraki, well this is the place to stay.

It is also a good base for touring the island with buses only 3 euros to as far as rhodes town.

I enjoyed many of the tavernas in Pefkos. Particularly the Enigma and Nostalgia. Both served food and wine of high quality in an unrushed fashion. Enigma specialised in a seafood salad starter which is among the best I have ever tasted.

Absolutley fantastic, our first Greek holiday. PEFKOS - Ideal posistion for families, Strongly recommend The Coliseum for both accomadation and food. Good beaches, however we avoided the busier Central Beach. Total holiday made better by 80+ temperatures.

We visited many resorts on the island of Pefkos (hire car) and felt that we had selected the best one for a relaxing family/beach holiday - superb selection of restaurants and several bars to choose from - didn't bother with the local buses as plenty of taxis available - visit the Coliseum restaurant (Pefkos) for the best meal on the island.

Palm Bay in Pefkos, Rhodes, is an excellent resort which caters almost entirely for British holidaymakers. Hire a car to get to the varoius attractions on the island as the trips cost loads. The bus to Rhodes takes ages and you quite often have to stand for over an hour.
