Good Points: quick trigger action up to 12 lead bb's in around 2 sec. great design reminds me of a glock 17 in some aspects

Bad Points: some times jams, but easy enough to fix by taking the casing off and clipping the trigger mechanism back on

General comments: The Gamo Auto 45 is a fun gun to have, powerful enough didnt know it could shoot pellets until i read the review

I had several Gamo pistols, this Gamo Auto 45 performed really well. Innovative magazine system. It had the power, the looks, the accuracy! I can't think of anything bad to say about this one!

Here in Beirut Lebanon, airguns are hard to find (since they are banned since 2003) but you can find Gamo guns from old stocks at 150-200 usd...
    So I got myself the P800- PT80 -P23-Auto 45-R77-and even an old PR15...
If I have to compare the Auto 45 to the other Gamo guns I would say that the trigger pull is definitely more decent than the PT80 and similar to the P23, the overall external aspect and finish of the gun are excellent like all Gamo guns. The velocity varies from 350 to 435 dependi ...

I'v owned my Gamo 45 for 5 years and never had a problem with it. It's great for shooting tin cans and ideal to carry when hunting to 'finish off' animals. My brother has used it when learning to shoot and the whole family enjoys using the gun.

After owning the Gamo Auto 45 for about ten months the co2 seal really started to become faulty. I tried seven co2 cartriges to no avail. Sad really other than that it might have been a good co2 pistol.

I had just bought my Gamo Auto 45 gun when I felt that this would be a nice pistol to own, and being able to fire pellets and BB's, it's worth a lot more than I paid for it. Sure, there are some features that I don't like about it, and there will never be a gun that is perfect in every way, but the Auto 45 is well worth the initial investment.
The worst feature on the gun is the BB magazine (it's integrated, so don't think that you can remove it) and the piece of plastic that holds the spring ...

Got the Gamo Auto 45 CO2 Pistol for less than $45 online through a clearance. Didn't expect much but was surprised. After adjusting the sights, this thing could not miss.

Only bad thing is, whenever you reload the first round is always low. I'm not talking about changing the cartridge, I'm talking about putting in fresh bbs.

I bought the Gamo Auto .45 about a year ago. I have had no problems with it so far. At 20 feet, you can blow a hole through half a phone book (for a pistol thats pretty good!). I shot the top of a plastic oil can off. I would recommend this gun, it is good for casual shooting.

This Gamo Auto 45 is my second BB pistol and this is my favourite by far. It's a very reliable & relatively low cost pistol. 410 fps, hardly ever misfires (two after six months) and very accurate, I have hit soda cans from about 90 feet. This gun has a nice look and feel to it.

Overall the Gamo Auto 45 is a sturdy feeling gun with surprisingly strong power. This CO2 Pistol felt nice in the hand although the handle is a shade large for my smaller hand. Quite realistic, and is similar in looks to a Glock. I fired quite a few rounds off in the backyard at various targets, big and small with mixed results. I think once I have mastered the adjustment on the sights it will perform better.
I am quite pleased with this gun, but bear in mind this is my first gas gun that I hav ...

I've had the Gamo Auto 45 pistol for some time now but a while after I bought it it quickly started leaking CO2. Even with oiling and care it just wouldn't stop leaking. Also, the small catch on the bottom of the grip that you use to screw in the CO2 capsule broke off even if care was taken - I never abused this gun. If your thinking of buying a CO2 pistol in this price range dont even consider this gun. If you really want a gamo then add the extra tenner and get the pt80, or walther ppk, or wal ...

I have owned several Gamo airguns over the past few years. When they work, they work great. The Gamo Auto 45 pistol shoots as hard and fast as any of the other Gamo models, but I found it to be rather square and bulky. I shoot I.D.P.A. with a Sig P-220 and thought this Gamo pistol might offer some low end garage practice. However, the weight and perceived "feel" do not adequately compare to a center fire semi-automatic pistol. It has a 100% fun factor, but little practical use. Just my two ...

The Gamo Auto 45 is a good little pistol. It's quite powerful, will penetrate a pop can at 25+ feet and go right into plywood. Accuracy is good (I have not sighted mine in yet but it's fairly accurate as it is). It fires up to 12 BB's and pellets are fired one at a time.

Build quality is nice. Metal top with some kind of polymer bottom. It weighs 1.1 lbs, feels good in the hand and has a nice weight. Overall, feels like it will last for a long time. It does have a lack of accessories, but a ...

Gamo Auto 45 - I have owned a few air pistols (none co2) and air rifles and was after a powerfull air pistol rather then a big rifle, decided to go for a c02 powered one and choose the Gamo 45. I couldn't wait to get it delivered and was very pleased, easy loading, and easy to use, the c02 does leak a bit when changing the canister but nothing major. I haven't tried it with pellets yet but am waiting for some pointed ones to be delivered so look forward to that. VERY powerful gun for such a sm ...

I got my Gamo Auto 45 from JS Ramsbottom about a month ago for £49.95. So far shot about 500 pellets through it and I have to say I am very pleased. I use it for back garden plinking and it will quite easily pass straight through both sides of a can with the first 20 or so shots, after that they go through one side and dent the other. It is fairly accurate and I can get 4 inch groups center to center at 15m. I have experianced no problems with gas leakage and suspect the people that say th ...

    Gamo Auto 45
I know what im talking about when it comes to COMPARING co2 arms. how are the other people suppose to rate their guns when they have no foundation to rate it upon! in simple terms, they only have 1 pistol and they don't own any other pistol. how are you suppose to compare gun? exactly my point.

I own 9 pistols, and when I review guns... I do know what im talkin ...

The Gamo Auto 45 gun makes a perfect practice weapon, while also being a great back garden toy. it is the most fun weapon I have used, so you can let out your stress on cans.
