Good Points: It makes a change from beans on toast!
General comments: Judith Finlayson The 150 Best Slow Cooker Recipes:
I got a slow cooker as a wedding present, being a beans-on-toast type of woman I had no idea what to do with it. When I saw this book, I thought I would give it a go. At first glance, I found there to be a good range of recipes from appetisers, fondues, soups, vegetarian dishes and desserts, I was really surprised, I didn't know you could make all these things in a slow cooker! The measurements are in American, but alternative measurements are shown on the opposite page. So far I have made casserole, cheesecake and keema, all of which have been out of this world! A far cry from beans on toast!
