fordbank equicentre is truly a brilliant riding centre, lovely people go there and not only the riding is good but the interaction with the horses
I have been going there now for seven to eight years and have never thought of swiching yards, brilliant also for livery I have my own horse there on livery and she always gets cared for well when I cant make it up I would definetely recomend this yard to everyone

I have been going to Fordbank for over a year now and find the staff to be friendly, professional and encouraging. They ALWAYS go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and safe both when on the yard and in the school. They have great horses for all levels of rider that are well looked after and the instruction is top class. I have been going to fordbank for 6years now and my boyfriend has been going 3years and i have no complaints whatsoever. The staff and voulenteers are polite and friendly and are always happy to help. The horses are well loved and looked after and the school ponys and horses get regular holidays if even the slight sign of tierdness from working in the school. I have been at fordbank for just over 1 year now and i can without a doubt say that it is the best run yard i have ever been to . The staff are very helpful and friendly and there is just a general good atmosphere about the yard . I have been at Fordbank for over 9 years now, for the past 4 years fiona has taken over the yard has come on leaps and bounds with so much improvements made for horses and all customers. I have been riding at Fordbank for several years....(previously been at other riding schools) but i find the owner Fiona,and all instructors all great at what they do. All the horses and ponies are in great condition. There have been lots of great work done in the school since Fiona took over.EG A great new all weathers outdoor area.I come to the yard every week and love my time here.....money and time permitting i would come every day. There is nothing bad to say about Fordbank. The owner, Fiona, has always got time to take out to listen and offer advice, nothing is too much trouble. i have been going to Fordbank now for 3years an since then i have started improving my riding skills and started more shows, with the help of Fiona and Karen. The horses that Fiona supplies are all fantastic, you couldn't ask for better horses . All the people that work there, are great! So friendly and help with anything. i wouldn't ride anywhere else. I have been going to Fordbank for 7 months now, since then Fiona has helped me find an absolute gem of a horse and really went out of her way to look at different horses to make sure I found the right one. For everyones information, I am the owner of Joe and can advise that all horses are extremely well looked after which is why I keep Joe and my other horse here. Used to barge out stable as this is what he was allowed to do at last yard, which was a nightmare and why I moved. Stables are inspected by vets on behalf of council every year so that they can keep their liscence as a riding school and same vet looks after my horses, giving annual boosters - if there was a problem I think it might... My 15 year old daughter moved to Fordbank nearly 4 years ago just after Fiona took over and i can honestly say it is a fantastic yard. She wanted to learn to jump and now under Fionas guidence and instructions she is now competing in BSJA competitions. She is in the process of changing from a pony to a horse and Fiona has halped her all the way, right down to helping her to find the right horse to buy. I can honestly say that Fordbank is a great place to go and ride and to learn about horses, thanks to the knowledge and friendliness of the staff and helpers there. I have ridden at various stables in the past and found this to be the one that I'm happy and comfortable at. It is well run and well managed, as far as I can see, and the children about the stables always seem to be well supervised. I have a 14 year old daughter who has been at this yard for 4 years and can hand-on-heart state that you could not find a better run or supervised yard. My daughter has gone from not wanting to leave my side (due to death of her father) to attending pony days and pony camps every year.
