Dreadful system makes it almost impossible to gain online access to your account. Complaints get you nowhere. Tesco Personal Finance Internet Saver is one of the worst and most badly designed systems encountered.

My wife and I started using Tescos as a savings bank because of the attractive rates last year.
We read the reviews and were unimpressed, though not put off, by people's experiences with the on-line service. We expected delays and we were not disappointed. It took weeks and weeks to get hold of a keypad so we could use the card, and in the end, after many calls, the Tesco operator said we could use any other banks' keypad! So we used the NatWest one to set up a payment in order to be able to get ...

After setting up your Tesco Personal Finance Internet Saver account you need to register before getting your money out. I thought I was all done with my account after setting it up and so didn't try to access it until I needed the money.
    1. I then tried to register and found out the site is coded in a poor way and since I don't allow pop-ups, my web browser wouldn't let the pop-up appear and after I let Tesco's use pop ups it refreshed the screen and the site thought that was a problem and thro ...

Tesco Personal Finance Internet Saver is an absolutely dire service. After 6 months I still can't log in and access my account. The customer service is non existent and they do not respond to letters or emails.

I found it a very laborious and long-winded process setting up the account with Tesco Personal Finance Internet Saver. Phoned for support on an 08457 number, pressed the relevant buttons and was eventually told there was a technical hitch just like on the website. Simplified my password so a 3-year-old could guess it and things started to work. Having setup I tried changing my password to something more secure and got kicked again, so had to simplify it once more.

All in all very satisfied with Tesco Personal Finance Internet Saver. Excellent rate of interest and although card readers being delayed due to high demand for this account, the money was sent immediately to my bank after completing security questions over phone. As over 10,000 pounds this was delivered in two tranches, and whole amount in my bank within 48 hours.

Tesco Personal Finance Internet Saver offers attractive interest rate (when bonus was offered before 7 Jan). I found it incredibly slow and a muddle when setting up the account. Poor website - often doesn't seem to work. 'Customer service' is very poor, the operators I dealt with were unfamiliar with the product, give conflicting advice and appear to be quite incapable of taking any action to improve the service.

This is by far and away my worst experience with internet banking. I had read warnings from other users when I first opened the account, but assumed it was merely bad luck, as my other experiences with Tesco were generally very good.Initially I had problems opening the account and being able to see any details on it. However, as the money was in the account, I did not worry unduly on the efficiency of the processes. When I came to make my first payment, as was unable to, I found out quite how po ...
