mcafee does tell you if a website is safe or not but it does not keep viruses out very well. if you call them they will get rid of your virus by allowing them a session where they control your computer and go inside of it to get the viruses out for around 80 to 90 dollars. but eventually you will get another virus and youll have to contact mcafee again. its alot of money. i recommend AVG security. it works really good. Without realising, I recently accidently let a Trojan into my PC, which attacked various files. I ' m not sure of the name, but it disabled any security updates for McAfee Internet Security, Windows Update (Vista) and Defender, System and Program updates etc. It also disabled various Helpdesk websites such as Dell ' s Virtual Technician, McAfee Technical Support and Customer Care and various other sites. Initially I thought the McAfee website and update web pages were too busy or unavailable... (read more)
