7 - 10:30 delivery time - so it arrives at 15:30. No time to check contents as I was told "our van broke down and we've eight more drops...." however packaging was damaged. So was the corner of the headboard where the vaneer was chipped away. So it took five hours to assemble and screw together, and then unscrew to adjust frame before a few times it would close. The end piece of wood on a side bar split as well. Suggest you do an adult education light enginnering course before you tackle... (read more)

The most horrendous online experience. Do not order a bed with these people - they do not know how to run a business, provide customer service or stick to promised time frames. I have waited 4 MONTHS for a bed and still not received it owing to a series of delays (bed burnt in a factory fire, delay in manufacturing a new bed, delays in getting the bed to water, delays in shipping the bed, delays in the bed docking etc..) On very rare occasions we experience problems with our suppliers. In this instance we have experienced a fire at one of our suppliers factories which has regrettably resulted in a number of delays. As each of these beds is individually hand carved it has taken longer than we were originally quoted. We have made every effort to keep customers up to date regarding the progress of their orders with email updates. At every stage customers have been given the opportunity to have a refund or reselect an alternative model. We have also advised customers that have been effected that we will provide a complimentary gift with their order. We are genuinely sorry for the delays that have occurred and have done everything possible to try and speed delivery up.

I ordered a bed with memory foam mattress and was advised it was coming on a certain date. I was not told the mattress was out of stock. They took my money and then we received a call and we accepted a further delay awaiting the mattress. The bed an mattress duly arrived and even the van driver agreed that he wouldn't accept it without a £90 - £100 as it was filthy. The driver couldn’t take it back though! As you will see by the rest of these reviews we take customer service very seriously. Our customer service team operate Monday - Friday 9.00-5.30pm so were not here to take your call on Saturday. We contacted the customer first thing on Monday in order to investigate the issue and we refunded the delivery cost to the customer. An investigation has since been conducted by our carrier which resulted in the suspension of the individual concerned. We apologise for the distress that this caused. As an online business we recognise that delivery is a very important part of the shopping experience and we invest heavily in this area using professional 2 man delivery teams to make the vast majority of our deliveries. We regret that in this instance our carriers failed to deliver the standard of service that you should expect.
