I have been on 5 different holidays with Friendship Travel and enjoyed every one. I was very nervous about going on holiday on my own but I soon made friends and had a great time. Friendship Travel provide very good service and are very good at giving information about the holidays without pressure to buy. There are no single supplements and such a variety of destinations. I have booked another holiday to Turkey in September and I cant wait to go. I would certainly recommend this company. (read more)

“Friendship travel safari ”

I went on safari with FT last year. The customer service was non existent. Clearly nobody from FT had done a recce - they couldn't answer anyone's basic queries before the holiday eg vaccines required, recommended clothing, mosquito protection or amount of money to take, and had a cavalier attitude to complaints afterwards. I have to disagree with previous comments. I recently travelled with FT and thought they were brilliant. Collum (who was our rep for the holiday) was v attentive & there when we wanted him, disappearing when we didn't. OK so they are more expensive than other "singles holidays" companies out there, but they put time and manpower into their holidays - where else do you get a dedicated rep for 10-20 people? I had a fab time with them in Greece & am just about to travel with them again. (read more)

Booked a gulet cruise with friendship travel and it was promised as an exclusive singles cruise but there were only 4 singles onboard and the other 12 guests were all couples who paid alot less than we did so it is not an exclusive singles holiday at all however they gave us 50 pound refund big deal. But they promised that there was safe access on and off the boat regarding handrails on both sides of all gangplanks, which there were none at all so very dangerous and as this company manly... They called me also the day before travel and told me that they could not promise that it would all be single people. When I arrived there were only a handful from friendship travel and everyone else had booked through a newspaper and they paid alot less for 2 weeks than my 1 week. Do not believe there promise. I was recently divorced and wanted to go on a holiday by myself, i found this company that offered singles holidays and took the plunge. here is some info from their website that explanes it very well:

I have travelled with Friendship Travel on many holidays and that alone should tell anybody reading this something obvious, they come highly recommended and not misleading. Compared with another well known single operator they are friendly, well staffed and do not mislead or take ages to come back with details etc. They have one of the highest repeat figures in the industry (people returning for another holiday). I have just returned from an excellent holiday with Friendship Travel in Lanzarote over Christmas and New Year. We had 2 reps looking after 25 of us, excellent service and great hotel.

The guest reviewer giving bad comments about a holiday seems to have posted the same review on many sites, so i guess the holiday wasn't for him or it was bad holiday. People do make mistakes sometimes !! I would travel with Friendship travel again. (read more)
