Good Points: Just excellent, excellent, excellent with an extra drop of....excellence!

Bad Points: Its a big book but was too quick to read. Must. Have. More!

General comments: What can I really say apart from Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!
Marcus Alexander, Who is Charlie Keeper? is an exceptional read, intricate imagination, brilliantly timed humour, stylish characters, a wonderful story plot, fullforced fantasy formula with a new and really, really exciting twist on the tired swords and sorcery staple and the artwork.......this book is simply brilliant , normally my reviews are a bit more coherent but I'm babbling at the moment!!All of the characters were intricately created breathing a sense of reality into the fantasy however some of the characters stood out from the rest:The Delightful Brothers (Stix and Stones) two menacing bullies with horrible minds.Bane The Stoman Lord, a real monster of a giant.Nibbler The Dragon, at last a genuinely witty dragonSiegbert The Fat Chef, again a horrible piece of workThe Shades, Bane's servants, shadows made realConstantina, a spoilt brat I can go on and on its that good. Just go out and get the book and you'll see what I mean.

Who is Charlie Keeper? by Marcus Alexander is very exciting writing and to be honest I was rather quite shocked by just how fast the story was moving by chapter three. An exceptional read and one I took great pleasure in seeing through to its conclusion. Perhaps a new twist on the genre? There was the occasional typo / spelling error perhaps self published?

Quite simply one of the sweetest reads I've had this year. I adored the Harry Potter series, I love fantasy, magic, dragons and I can honestly say that OMG Who is Charlie Keeper? fufils all my expectations in this genre! Fast, witty and suspensful, Marcus Alexander introduces the lead character Charlie Keeper her sharp wit, sarcasm and her unfortunate circumstances before blasting forward into the world of Bellania with its magic, evil giants, twisted shadows, politics, betrayals and......aaaaaa ...
