Unbelievable architectural concept, yes you must see it to believe. This is what eco tourism is all about. KumbukRiver Eco Extraordinaire is on a fantastic location. So green, so charming and we had the river all to ourselves. Facilities and food were a real refreshing experience. For long stays it would be nice to see more organized activities. Incredible place! Kumbuk River Lodge is an incredible eco hideout! The main eco villa is in the shape of a massive elephant. Gorgeous location with a river. Lovely climate. Must see to believe! KumbukRiver is a real gem. Luxurious setting in a very eco and natural sense. You will always treasue the experience. Only bad points: Far from Colombo. If you look for city comforts, you will see everything as bad. But if you know what eco tourism is all about, everything is a discovery. (read more)
