    The Hotpoint WMD960P washing machine is advertised as being very quiet and having a timer that shows you every step of the way through your wash.We purchased this product on both of these merits, unfortunately this is not true.The overhaul wash is relatively quite untill it comes to spinning and pumping out. the pump is extremely noisey,(like a continuous thump that echoes through your house) the noisiest that we have ever heard. When it comes to the timer,well that is a joke.The display can run over actual real time from a MINIMUM of 14 minutes.This is infuryating when waiting to just get the washing out and go.We find you will have to do your own Mathematics on the time yourself.Contacted Hotpoint on both of these problems by e-mail, they just replied saying that there is no problem with the product.Would not recommend this to anyone as the sales marketing is very misleading and very disappointed with the response from Hotpoint.We will not buy another Hotpoint product.
