Purchased alistair corner sofa on 27th Nov after really good reviews, delivered mid December, looks lovely, however, sofa has lumpy cushions, poor filling and looks more 3 year old than 3 weeks!!! I have spoke to several people in customer service who have all been brilliant! I am now awaiting on pick up and full refund! Great customer service, manufacturer of poor sofa has let this down! “Christmas Present Desk never arrived despite...”

Ordered desk that arrived next day by Yodel smashed badly on corners with package sellotaped !!! Called Azda, who could not replace under 14 days as Courier had taken it back with him!!! “Asda Directs customer service is an absolute joke”

I ordered 3 items with a delivery date of the 26th September This was for some reason then split between 2 couriers, Yodel and Hermes. The Yodel delivery came much quicker than this, which is by no means a bad thing. However the process seemed to fall down a little bit. At 13:31 I got both a text and an email from them to say that my order would be delivered between 9:00 - 13:00. Ordered Sumatra garden furniture (£375) all went well with order, pain in the butt to assemble got to last bit the coffee table glass scratched! Rang the dreaded South African call centre who were very apologetic but that's all they were, both my husband & I struggled to understand what the girl was saying. Like you I wish I had read all the reviews. We had Borneo garden furniture delivered, and it fell off the lorry onto the road we checked it and decided to keep it as the whole settee and two chairs were well covered in bubble wrap.we too had difficulty in assembling it as the brackets never matched, just as you we had to use clamps. We then realised that the glass top was missing, it was in the cardboard that they took away, broken as we found evidence glass fragments. I contacted Cust. Serv. yes in S.A. And was told to return it and I would have to have a refund as the light grey set was O.O.S.i told them I was happy to get the glass cut. I was told to get a price which was £41.60. Then I was told I couldn't have it refunded onto the card I paid with, it would have to be a voucher to spend on line, as if I would want to buy anything else from them. You won't believe how many calls I've made and received,and the list of names I have tonight I was offered a £25 voucher, I was even told they would send out there repair team to measure and then come back to fit the glass.as we mustn't do do as it would make the guarantee void if we tampered with the set, they now tell me that team don't look at garden furniture. I've never heard so much rubbish in all my life. They don't have any respect in keeping the customers happy, I don't know who to speak to next that can resolve this problem, I've already tried LEEDS I have asked for the manager that when he says jump everyone does, or am I not living in the real world. we like the furniture it's very comfortable, we also purchased a cupboard to store the large cushions, NOT FROM GEORGE ASDA

“Tired of waiting!”

At last I have taken delivery of my sofa after waiting 12 weeks!! Why did it take all that time. It's completely unacceptable. Nobody advised me as to what was going on, I had to do all the phoning to see what was happening. Most inconvenient to me as I had removed interior doors to accommodate sofa delivery. Very uncomfortable in the cold weather we had a few weeks ago. I will never order anything more from Asda direct again., and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone else. “Shocking service!!!”

I ordered 2 Sloane sofa's and they arrived in good time, this is the good bit. I got them at the end of May and the time it was the end of June all the cushions had collapsed on both sofa's. I contacted customer services - what a joke! They are all liars and by the time I had the an estimator out the do a survey on the cushions we could barely sit on them. “Do not buy from Asda online!!”

The worst company ever if you develop problems with your goods or order only a South African call centre will be able to NOT attempt to help you. Bad communication and the Scottish team you get through before you get diverted are rude and unhelpful. I paid next day delivery and was not even contacted when it didn't arrive, then i was told the TV was out of stock then I received the order 4 days later! The reviews are favourable BUT there is obviously a huge problem with their delivery and their customer services department, all of which impact on making a purchase. On November 3rd 2013 I returned a sofa to Asda that was damaged when delivered. Customer service was hopeless they would keep me waiting on the phone for over 5mins while they made enquiries, then they would say they would phone back, but they never did. “Awful Quality”

Bought beautiful looking sofa from Asda, it was all burst as if dragged along floor and the quality of the sofa was shocking, fabric, cushioning legs pretty much everything about it looked cheep and it wasn't, customer service was rubbish, to replace sofa I would need to wait 5 weeks from the date the damaged sofa was returned to warehouse, I will also not receive refund till sofa has been inspected in warehouse, had to repackage damaged sofas myself which was almost impossible, unhelpful staff… Read Full Review

the customer care centre is in south africa and they lie like its the most natural thing in the world, got told delivery tomorrow 4 times so waited in 4 days in a row, chair still not here, told two different delivery companies would deliver it. do not deal with this company, I ordered an item and paid extra for named day delivery, it did not turn up, after many phone calls and delivery promises eventually arrived two and a half weeks later, customer service team does not exist, no one replies to emails, generally half hour or more wait to get through on phone then no one actually is able to help anyway worst service I have ever received… Read Full Review
