    I echo everyone's bad reviews. DO NOT BUY FROM FURNITURE TODAY.

    I bought 3 pieces of furniture. They took my money but failed to contact me to arrange delivery. For five days I was calling two phone numbers provided by both their web site and the email. One number constantly rang out whilst the other had an automated message informing me that there was a queue due to a high demand of calls. This was very surprising seeing as whatever time of the day I called (ie 9am and 4.50pm) I received the same answer!!

    I have now got my credit card company involved to recover money. I would recommend everyone do this!

    REALLY RUBBISH!!!!
    Brought a dresstable in July delivered incompletely miss the stool they said will arrive in august we are in the middle of october and my stool never arrive,service customer keeping lying to me and play games, said that my stool wii arrive soon.First and last time i bought something on this company.I wan't my money back and want then to collect that s...from my house!!!!!!!!really fed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!Careful people I won't recommend to my worse enemy!

    Terrible customer service. Do not respond to emails and when you call you wait ages to get through then they hang up or tell you that you shouldn't have called as they'd be in touch. Waited 8 weeks for a wardrobe that should have come in 4 weeks. Furniture is fine, but customer service is as bad as it gets.

    Echoing the sentiments of many reviews below, the customer service is appalling. I have called and emailed about the non-delivery of my mirror and get fobbed off with "i'll contact the supplier and call you back".

    My first and my last purchase from Furniture today.
    Purcahsed Cameo painted low foot end bed.
    Appalling customer service from Furniture Today. Their website documents that they will send an email to confirm the order and that you would receive a phone call to confirm delivery and choice of am or pm delivery, I didn't get either. I did however receive an email with confirmation and delivery date on the same day that they delivered the bed!

    I'm very pleased with my furniture, it was delivered on time and the furniture is very good quality. I ordered some oak bedroom furniture and it really looks nice and matches the bed I already have. I would recommend furniture Today as I tried some of the competition and was badly let down.

    Don't be fooled by the cheap prices promising quality furniture. Like most things in life you get what you pay for. I ordered 2 pieces of matching furniture with a 4 to 6 week delivery. I received notification that the delivery was due to be received into their warehouse and would be contacted to arrange delivery. I was then telephoned by Furniture Today to say that the chest of drawers was out of stock and would take a further 4 weeks but could have the small chest. It just appeared on day ...

    Furniture Today promised delivery of dining table and chairs in April 2009. Arrived minus two of the chairs. Customer service absolute rubbish. On the point of starting legal proceedings when the two missing chairs arrived. One problem - chairs a different colour to the rest of the set. I informed them but didn't even get a reply. Would I buy from them again NO' NO' NO'

    bought a wardrobe, 2 x bedsides and chest of drawers from Furniture today, items all arrived but unfortunately the wardrobe would not fit up the stairs, delivery guys who delivered tried everything in their power, It was my fault as I did not measure up correctly. Contacted furnituretoday after reading the 10 days return policy. Wardrobe was taken away with no hassell the same day and recommended a small wardrobe which has now been delivered. Close enough match to fit in well with the other item ...

    never ever again!!! i've brought an item 25/01 (delivery in 6 weeks). i've waited 6 wks, i've called them many times but the only thing they said: let me call you back... but they never did... after trying i've got their answer saying that i should have to wait for more 6 wks, so i did after 12 wks i've called... they said there was some delays... more 2 wks... again i've called them... after another wk trying to get the answer... they said that was a problem with my order which would take more ...

    Furniture Today are an absolutely awful company! Never use them! I'm very suspicious of the people who have said "they would never use anybody else" on this thing (member of staff!?!?!)

    Ordered months ago, still waiting for refund - they will just fob you off on delivery promises...

    "Your goods will arrive in our warehouse on the ****, we will arrange a delivery"...then another of the same closer to the date (with a further away date) and then another

    Appalling customer service from Furniture Today, took 3 months to deliver and then sent an email confirming the delivery for the following day - too late to organise time off work to take it.

    Don't be tempted by the prices - there's other companies out there who sell the same products and for a couple of pounds extra you'll probably get a much better buying experience.

    Beautiful furniture. Kept updated regarding delivery.

    Arrived some week later than the expected delivery dates when I placed the order, but this wasn't a problem to me as Furniture Today kept me updated.

    My mirror furniture arrived on Friday in excellent condition - I'm absolutely thrilled with it and would use Furniture Today again.

    We ordered bedroom furniture from Furniture Today that arrived damaged. we entered into negotiations to put things right and said if they didn't sort out the bed (mattress too short by 4 inches the we would return the whole suite. 3 weeks later, still not sorted, screws and things missing, so I rang to send it all back and get refund.     I would definatly recommend furniture today to everyone! the staff were so helpful with every query i had from placing the order, to having it delivered! Wonderful service, and my furniture is perfect. I will be shopping with furniture today alot more in the future, and I will be spreading the word!

    Furniture Today gives an absolute rubbish service. Took over 12 weeks to arrive (despite 4 -6 week promise). Bed and cupboard arrived no handles or fixings for the bed. 18 weeks since order still awaiting handles for chest and cupboards. These handles have been sent (wrong ones), then lost in the post, then not an option on the range I have and will be with me next week. As if !!!

    Waited 2 months for the items to arrive in the Furniture Today warehouse, and now having endless problems with delivery. They are completely inflexible on dates and times.

    Got the driver to phone me, he says be 30mins to an hour. I get home in 20mins, and wait 1hr15 before calling him. He says he has been and I missed him - no phone call, no calling card - complete waste of time. Now i have to do it all again....

    i found the furniture today staff polite and helpful.
    i love my beautiful furniture and will not shop elsewhere from now. i have told my friends about furniture today and will continue to spread the word.
