What you have to realise is that Everest built their reputation with double glazed windows and as that market ceased to grow they looked for other areas of home improvement and one was Fitted Kitchens.
They had no experience of kitchens and so when they started 3 years ago they applied the same door knocking invitation of "would you like a free kitchen design" and the same "buy on the night principle" that they might use with the sale of a new front door.
The set up at Everest Kitchens is totally geared towards sales targets, there is no mention of customer satisfaction, just free holidays & cars for the top reps. Reputable kitchen companies concentrate on customer service, belong to trade associations, have the government backed Trust Mark Award and have insurance cover on deposits taken by the company, not so with Everest.
The Office of Fair Trade ruled that it was illegal to offer financial incentives when offering home improvement finance, yet Everest ignore that and make it very clear to customers that if they take the Everest Finance there will be a discount in the quoted price and they even give them a discount voucher.
The kitchens from Everest are made by a kitchen manufacturer who makes for other companies and the designs are no different from any you might find on a retail park except that the Everest kitchens are 3 or 4 times more expensive and the Everest Kitchen designer is under intense pressure to sell you a finance package at a rate that will be 3 time more than you can obtain yourself by searching on line.
You should also be aware of the deception by Everest for when the agent shows you a sample cabinet THIS IS NOT how your kitchen units will be. The sample is made with an 18mm back panel - but the kitchen will be delivered with a 9mm back panel - half as thick - but no one will tell you.
It does not take long for honest designers to realise that an Everest Kitchen is extremely overpriced which is why they are constantly advertising for designers and quoting £35 OTE. However what they omit is that only the very wealthy or very stupid are going to part with the sort of money that Everest quote. But if you do want an Everest Kitchen - have the free design and say no to the designer as in a week or two the office will ring you with a quote which will be half what the de

Everest Kitchens, or as in my own mind they should be called "Everstressed" have just completed a kitchen nightmare for us. It has taken them 655 days and 2 kitchens to do so. They used shoddy subcontractors to install the first kitchen, not the dedicated skilled team of Everest's own personel that they promised and advertised on their slick sales pitch.. Everything that could go wrong did so, and Everest could not have cared less.
The wrong doors were delivered. The wrong hob, the wrong plinth ...

Everest Kitchens advertise with a glossy brochure stating " Fully bespoke and made-to-order for the specific requirements of you and your home". Nothing could be further from the truth.
Made to order would mean all units pre-made and then fitted.
    WRONG
There is nothing bespoke about their kitchens, they are standard size units made to fit on site, usually by adding infil panels.
Their salesperson promises you the earth, but once having signed on the dotted line, all they want is your money.
    The ...
