    Good Points: Good image quality outdoors.


    Bad Points: Slow shutter, flash is delayed, bad image quality indoors.


    General comments: I got the Sony CyberShot DSC-P9 as a present from my Japanese father in law, and it was quite an expensive gift. I have had it for about 3 years now. When I have it with me somewhere to take pictures outside, it is very good. The 4 megapixels takes good quality photos outdoors. However it is not so good indoors. The flash is a bit off, so every time I use flash, the people have their eyes closed when the shutter goes off. And flash photos are not very clear. If you are in a hurry to take a picture, then this one is not for you. The target is usually gone before this one actually snaps, and the flash needs almost 30 seconds to charge. Good for outdoor use. Poor for indoor use.

    I've had this little Sony DSC-P9 digital camera for over 12 months now and although it's not the best digital camera in the world it's not too bad. If you want a camera with a battery that lasts longer than an hour or a camera that takes "great" photos in poor light (i.e cloudy/raining) this isn't the camera for you.

    I have had this Sony DSC-P9 Digital camera over a year now, and i am still being amazed with its versatility, Large clear pictures, amazing editing functions on camera, lots of different filters to use and video that is as good as any other digital camera i have seen. Must have accessory is a LARGE memroy card for those 2 week trips away from the laptop. Oh yeah, it is gorgeous to look at and hold as well.

    This Sony DSC-P9 is a very nice camera. It is a beauty to look at a and easy to carry on your person. The pics are very good quality. Zoom is very standard and as far as i know there arnt any ad on lenses. Qreat point and shoot camera.

    A great camera , great pictures, everything about it is great! except ...1 hour for the battery is not any good!!
    You need to buy spare batteries!
    Apart from that, I'd recommend it!

    I have taken about 200 pictures with this camera so far. It takes nice pictures with or without flash. MPEG movie feature is useful for short clips, but it's not a video camera. Easy to use and navigate through the features and settings. You will need a second memory stick because the one that comes with the camera is too small to take many high resolution photos. USB interface is easy to use. Small size fits in your pocket.

    I have had this camera for about a week and I am very pleased with it, it has the usual sony quality about it, takes excellent pictures, and small movies with sound
