I can get the lawson cards to post to my personal page but not to my business page. Any help out there?

Many happy years with these brilliant cards -good service; This year the Advents went wrong and when I complained I was suddenly totally locked out of my [active] account. All attempts/requests for help are simply ignored and there seems to be no way to actually get in touch.

I hae received your advent calender as a gift. It has taken up 97% of the computer memory, this has slowed everything to almost a standstill.
I have this morning gone through the uninstall routine; the calendar is no longer listed. However it is still on the computer. How can I get rid of it in order to restore normal function?

Let's divide this review into two areas:
1) The e-Cards are superb and have been around for awhile but are now so popular that even with lots to choose from, there is increased liklihood that a recipient has already received the same card from someone else and no warning if that is true. Their software needs to give senders the option to switch to a different card for that recipient. Otherwise I give the e-CARDS a 5-star rating.
2) The Advent Calendar is new in 2010 there have been a mixture of good and bad results. When it downloads and installs properly, it is absolutley a fantastic joy on a daily basis, an extremely clever pice of work. It must have been a monumental undertaking. So for those folks who get it to work it deserves a 5-star rating; for those folks who can't get it to work, it gets zero stars. I had to help everyone I sent it to. Half the time, I was successful and those folks loved it. One person had Mac OS 10.4 Tiger because their computer won't run 10.5 Leopard or 10.6 and we only learned after the fact that Advent can't run on that OS (and received a refund for that purchase); another person was running a Linux OS and I still haven't gotten confirmation as to compatibility on that OS. Unfortunately for Advent customers, the Jacquie Lawson team was not prepared for the plethora of problems that people experienced and quickly fell behind under the deluge of help requests. I found that they were not reading the emails carefully, offering suggestions that made no sense given the problem. They are trying their best it seems, but meanwhile the calendar keeps ticking away. I know they value their customers and a refund can be obtained by asking. I hope their team learns from this year's successes and failures; it is just too good a new product to give up on. Again, I suggested to their staff that they need to advise senders if their recipient has already been sent the Advent Calendar, especially since there is only one to choose from and each is paid for. Two recipients should not have to pay for the same Advent Calendar sent to the same person. I think next year will be a better year for this concept!
Because the Advent Calendar is a new product, I am not weighting it as much as the e-Cards, so my overall rating is 4 stars for Jacquie Lawson!

I love the creativity that is shown in Jacquie's work particulaly in the Christmas Advet Calender Screensaver.. which for a Minimal cost of £2.00..
A few loading Problems but I think that was the Connection more than the Software..
I love the Screensaver there is a lot of imagination gone into it!
I love it!
Thanks Jacquie am merry Christmas to you all xx

Jacquie Lawson cards are a pleasure both to send and to receive. However, trying to communicate seems to be impossible. Their website contains neither phone number nor email address, none at least that I can find.

Jacquie Lawson's cards are so versitile. They can be used for varied greetings to so many friends of all ages. The skill of the art work is amazing and a joy to behold. At first I found the cards a little difficult to use but with use I have mastered this little problem

I love jacquie lawsons ecards, really wonderful ideas and animation. But I have been a members for a few years and have sent all of the cards I like and feel I have come to the end of her collection, although she does add new cards every year. I found a new site recently which I joined called www.katiescards.com which also offers great ecards, not quite the same style or as many cards as jacquie's but certainly a great selection and worth a look.

I have been a subscriber for 2 years. The cards are lovely. However, many of my recipients are also members of Jacquie Lawson, so it feels weird to send them the ecards from the same place. I am thinking to try katiescards.com or ojolie.com. Has anyone used any? Or does anyone have other alternatives?

- The ecards are one of the better ones on the net.
- No ad. The above sites also don't have ad.
- The price has increased from $8 to $10 to $12. I wish it is still $10 or $8:-)
- It is very popular. So it sucks to receive Jacquie Lawson's cards from others whom you also want to send the cards to. So I need to find other sites to send cards to them.
The cards are pretty. The selection is getting bigger. It is great if you like flowers and teddy bears.

I love Jacquie Lawson cards, they are so beautifully drawn, with gentle humour. The site is easy to use and the service swift.

Lovely designs, with no advertising, just a small subscription fee.
The recipients of these cards have been delighted with the artistic and creative flair.

Unhappy Ex Jaquie Lawson Customer's Comment
Written on: 26/12/2010
A fair review.

I too am sure that Jacquie Lawson were deluged with complaints...but that just goes to show how tech like the advent calendar should not be launched without real testing or without advising customers that it used different technology to the rest of their cards.

In my instance, Jacquie Lawson would not refund, suggesting just to reallocate the calendar to another person! Indeed they were quite sarcastic in their replies to me. Each reply took between 4 to 8 days to receive and as you mentioned, generally each was replying poorly.. having not read the questions asked. Customer service points ZERO. I felt like I was being written replies from a teenager! Very poorly done Jacquie Lawson. You have done yourself a discredit with that poor service.

A good company, at the first sign of a problem, would refund. I mean, the advent calendar was only £2.50...but no, in my emails, this, nor even a polite apology was forthcoming.

My main point with this Advent Calendar fiasco was that Jacquie Lawson clearly advertised it as compatible with PC and Mac computers. So why then tell me that my Mac was not compatible and refuse a refund?

Overall, it would seem they were happier to keep the £2.50 and have an unhappy customer, who would then express this unhappiness on www reviews! Jacquie Lawson cards are no longer the classiest cards on the web for me. I have now let my annual subscription expire and I shall not return.

I am going to start using the free service by rattlebox.com and a subscription service with ojolie.com where fantastic cards are also available by real people, with a real customer service!
