New Site is not user friendly or efficient. I'm busy and want to get cards out thoughtfully and easily. There are other less expensive sites that are faster. After years of using it I will not continue. Unfortunately I renewed 2 months ago for 2 years, big mistake with no refunds, customer service is non existent.

I joined 6 months ago and recently I wanted to send some holiday cards but I discovered I lost my password. Their Forgot Password NEVER sent me a link, despite numerous attempts. This is a company that constantly sends me emails, so I know that they definitely have my email. I sent a message to their customer service and NEVER got a reply. Really a marginal company.

I have had a jacquie Lawson calendar for the last 2 years and had no problems opening it, so pleased with its content but not this year I can't open this years calendar so disappointing I have sent some to my friends and family as well, mine was free because I registered but you still expect it to work if my family can't open theirs I have wasted £13.00 I have just renewed my membership but wont be doing it again next year. I am happy with cards though.

I took out a 2 year membership but after the first few cards that I sent I realised that I had to send them to my computer and then forward to the recipients. It appears that you have to make sure that everyone has to adapt their P.C.s to receive them direct. Some lovely, cleverly designed cards, which say it all, but a lot of them feature cats and dogs which are not suitable for some people. I bought the calendar, Stately Home style, 2013, some of it quite nice, but a bit childish for the main part. Bought the Market this year, 2014 and hoped to purchase more as gifts, but glad I didn't.Soooo un interesting!!! I won't bother to renew, such a pity, all that talent and chanelled wrongly.

Last year's calendar was wonderful. I bought 10 of the new ones this year for friends and am so sorry that I did. Only 6 of the 10 recipients could even open them. Very disappointed in it and am embarrassed that I hyped it up so much to the recipients. I actually bought myself the London one after 3 days of watching the new one, hoping it would be better. I think it is slightly, but neither hold a candle to last year's calendar. Jacquie Lawson needs to scale back to the quality of previous years, and also get some customer service.

I had been a member of this site for several years and always been delighted with quality of ecards. I recently bought the 2014 advent calendar only to find after twobdays that my activation key no longer worked. Ongoing to the website there was no record of my purchase so I paid again. Two days later the fresh receipt disappeared and no calendar access for me again. Despite polite emails to the team and using their online support request not even had the decency to reply. Would no longer use or recommend.

I had an account with this website for some time and though they warned my account was due for renewal when I checked according to what I saw on the screen I still had six months left so I did nothing. Then I received an email stating I no longer had an account with them. I have written to them twice through their specific contact section and they have not had the courtesy to acknowledge my mail let alone reply to it. Don't like being ignored.

I was given notice of renewal on 4 July 2014 for a renewal date of November 2014. I took no action, given it was four months away. One week later Jacquie Lawson took the money from my card! Her company has not responded to my email and I shall dispute the payment through my card company. I have tried to find a telephone number to speak to a person - but no luck. Needless to say I shall not be renewing, and I shall spread the word of the poor customer service provided by this company.

I have written many times to try to solve a problem and I get either no response or one that does not address my issues. I will not renew when my year of membership is up.

We have been subscribers since Jacquie Lawson answered emails herself! We accept that things change but one hopes it's for the better. Not so. The original cards are still the best in terms of sentiment, originality, humour, and charm. Many now look and sound tired, repetitious, and condescending. But the 2013 Advent Calendar was a major disappointment. Creative people obviously worked hard on it but, for us (and unfortunately for those we sent it to) it had had none of the enchantment of previous calendars. Overall, we found it leaden, condescending, and graphically and interactively pedestrian. Worse, it was charmless. And surely that was a characteristic of Edwardian manor life? So, why choose the "Downton Abbey', 'Upstairs/Downstairs', 'Gosford Park' context? It was so derivative and ... well, charmless.

Gerade an Weihnachten, wenn man Karten verschicken möchte, funktioniert dort nichts. Schade. Contact us .... Das ist kompletter Käse. ... Internal Server Error....

I have been a JL member for over 5 years and enjoy the e-cards for the most part. The new Christmas e-cards are pretty good, but the Edwardian Advent Calendar was a huge disappointment. It appeared to me that the JL team left the AC until it was too late and that they were rushed to get it ready in time. It was dull, inconsistent and out of sequence. I'm listing just some of the things that irked me: - Making samplers for a nursery that doesn't exist for several more days - Teddy bears introduced as dancing help, when "human" help was available, but not given much action - The animals (deer, rabbits. pigeons etc) that never showed up again after the one day - When the stockings ended up on the mantle, the view from the library should have changed - NO Christmas tree to decorate!!! and there are more, but.... This year's presentation has made me think twice about ordering any future calendars. If you have run out or ideas, why not send a request for some from your long term members... just a thought.

The 2013 Advent Calendar is really a let down. Some of the tasks are so twee, even one's maiden aunt would struggle to get excited. Laying a table?Dressing a figure in a paper outfit? Filling a vase of flowers? Cross Stitch? Who are these tasks supposed to be of interest to? At day 23 there is still no Christmas tree, the main scene holds little of interest and once inside the house, there are a series of isolated spaces with nothing whatsoever happening in them. The only exception is the Pavillion. We enjoyed the Alpine Village very much but this years offering is a real disappointment.

No one seems to be able to contact these people. Their "robot" website responds with a form email saying they'll be back to you in 48 hours. One week later, still no response. The cards are pleasant and people I send them to enjoy them. But it's a hassle. Jacquie Lawson surely doesn't understand business. Time for some good competition. Perhaps someone in the old USA can help us out and give them a run for their money. Maybe then they'll understand what customer dissatisfaction means. I've been a customer for six years.

For all of you having trouble installing the calendar, well you aren't missing a lot! I've absolutely LOVED the Advent Calendars for the last 2 years - they've been really magical and a December highlight. However, this one is a real disappointment. They've introduced various other rooms so instead of watching one picture magically coming to life, often nothing happens to the main page at all and you have to search around in other rooms to see what's going on. I know it's only December 12th but I don't think I'll be ordering one for next year.

I sent about 8 valentines cards out, and not one was received, althuogh your emails indicated they were received.

I am wasting time that I could be doing something useful in, looking for their phone number. I have been charged without my consent. I don't even like the cards,

Jacqui Lawson cards debited my credit card without my authority for another year, do not join as this is sharp practice. Cards are repetitive & old fashioned

I don't like the fat that there is not a phone number to speak with someone for help. The cards are ok but really lacking in the customer service department. 48 hours to respond is not good at all. They will take money in a matter if cyber seconds though.

I agree- I tried for an hour to log in to renew, even though I renewed 3 months ago. Couldn't send any Christmas Cards. What greeting card business abandons their customers during the Chrismas Holidays?????
