“LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM JACQUIE LAWSON”

I was given notice of renewal on 4 July 2014 for a renewal date of November 2014. I took no action, given it was four months away. One week later Jacquie Lawson took the money from my card! Her company has not responded to my email and I shall dispute the payment through my card company. I have tried to find a telephone number to speak to a person - but no luck. “Not Responding to emails”

Like the other Reviews I can not send any cards as they want me to change my password, but I have never recived the email to be able to do it. With no contact except to email, which I have done twice they have not responded. I still have 18 months left and can't send any cards. “Takes Your Money Does Not Deliver ”

I paid for 2 years my contract expires Jan 2016 to email unlimited e-cards. After a few months I got an email saying they are changing my password and will send a link. “Frustrating Annoying Hopeless”

This company took my money on the 9th April. I have yet to send a card. They fail to recognise my e-mail. Fail to contact me. The automated reply is annoying as they do not follow up ANY enquiries. That happened to me too - they don't have a phone number, Im in the US they are in the UK I have no way to contact them other then my 14 emails I sent without a response! If ANYONE finds out how to contact them please post it!

I have a feeling there are other websites in UK that has same complaints they are an unethical business. They know when you pay via pay pal you cant get a refund unless you dispute it within 45 days so they intentionally do this to you after the 45 day period!

IF you file a complaint, they take action it is for poor internet practices- this certainly is one I just filed a complaint-with enough of them Im sure action will be taken and we can either get a refund or use the service

I have the same exact problem. I've been waiting a week for new password information. In the meantime, I'm locked out and can't send cards. Is this a legitimate business?

Me too! In the US we have a BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU which started in 1912 to protect consumers on fraud like this, they give you a rating- so many complained in the US they have an F rating. Is there such a bureau in the UK?

“Beautiful Cards for any occasion.”

I highly recommend this service. The cards are really pretty, funny at times ( Halloween ) and tasteful. The small fee is well worth it. I save in not buying postage, if I forget to send a card ahead of time, I can get one sent immediately. I received a Jacqueline Lawson Christmas Card one year and was so impressed with it that I looked them up on the web and signed up there and then. “Unethical Billing”

Generally the cards are good. Jacqui Lawson has a range of ecards including eleven, 4th July/US patriotic cards and nine St Patrick's day cards. They do not however have any St Georges day cards. “Bad practice - no redress”

Two years ago I cancelled the automatic renewal instruction that had somehow appeared on my 'details' page. Nevertheless, JL has just taken another 2 years' subscription from my credit account. I find that, despite my cancellation, I am still a 'member' (sucker) and the automatic renewal instruction has miraculously reappeared among my account details. “succes went to their heads,now complacent don't care”

ordered a membership for friend in November 2013, payment did show on my visa. No confirmation or required code number was received (that is demanded to activate site so a password could be set to open site) .They got my money all I get is robo stock answers to complaints.Obviously no human reads or answers email complaints.No way to contact them, as their "contact us" is a joke. Used this site for the last 5 years, whilst I love the cards and calendars as soon as one encounters a problem JL are just not interested. Reported to them on 3 occasions over Christmas/New Year that photo cards were not sending. Finally, received one e-mail response which did not relate to the problem raised, no phone contact available. Now to add insult to injury they have deducted my annual subscription twice. “Appalling customer service”

The customer service side of this company is non-existent. I puchased five Advent Calendars but none of the recipients was able to download the Calendar, despite having the necessary software. It took me three e-mails to jacquilawson before I received a reply and even then they stalled by suggesting that I tried e-mailing the recipients with their codes to see if that would work. “Too many emails, no customer service”

People I have sent cards to have complained that their inboxes are flooded with reminders to view their JL cars if they have been away from their computers. When I tried to deliver this feedback to JL I discovered that there is NO customer service, and I wasted a lot of time trying to find it. I consider this to be a disrespectful way to treat your customers and will not renew my subscription when it runs out.
