“Took Our Money In Return Zero Service”

“Cards Lovely:Help/Service almost non-existent for MAC...”

I find the JL cards lovely. I find the ability to be able to send an e-card quite convenient....albeit I still send "hard cards"....but the JL Help service is non-existent. They simply send you a link to how you can "do it yourself"....However, if you have a MAC...they are very limited in knowledge...or at least their links (outdated re: MAC help) are limited to MAC help. If you have a Windows OS...you are sort of OK...but if you have a MAC, you are out of luck. And the "Help" replies just… Read Full Review

“TOOK MY MONEY”

I clearly informed them on 13.12.2014 that I did not wish to renew my membership on 22nd December, 2014. My email was acknowledged on 14.12.2014. I was appalled to find that my credit card details still remained on the Jacquie Lawson site, as I never leave them on any site. I tried to clear them. My credit card statement arrived today. I concur with all the adverse comments on here relating to recent poor service with this card vendor. I have used Jacquie Lawson Cards for many years in the past and found thheir cards to be tasteful and excellent value with a superb service - until recently! I took out a 2 year membership but after the first few cards that I sent I realised that I had to send them to my computer and then forward to the recipients.It appears that you have to make sure that everyone has to adapt their P.C.s to receive them direct. Some lovely, cleverly designed cards, which say it all, but a lot of them feature cats and dogs which are not suitable for some people. “Advent Calendar a Big Disappointment”

Last year's calendar was wonderful. I bought 10 of the new ones this year for friends and am so sorry that I did. Only 6 of the 10 recipients could even open them. Very disappointed in it and am embarrassed that I hyped it up so much to the recipients. I actually bought myself the London one after 3 days of watching the new one, hoping it would be better. For years I though JL cards were marvelouss. NO MORE. This year I paid for 5 Advent Calendars. Two of them were NEVER sent. Do not use this company. They never respond to emails and when you start using them they carry on debiting your account. I have had exactly the same problem with them. They have no customer service at all and no easy way of cancelling your account.

I recently bought the 2014 advent calendar only to find after twobdays that my activation key no longer worked. Ongoing to the website there was no record of my purchase so I paid again. the organization has obviously overstretched itself. Lovely advent calendar. Impossible to open it. I sent ten, of those only five people were able to open it. I, myself, had to buy a totally new Windows 7 computer before it would install. Last year I had no trouble, neither did any of my friends. I had an account with this website for some time and though they warned my account was due for renewal when I checked according to what I saw on the screen I still had six months left so I did nothing. Then I received an email stating I no longer had an account with them. Advent calenders DO NOT WORK WITH IPADS. They don't tell you that until the people who received them say they can't open it up. Then when I said good customer service would be to refund my whole order, not just the calenders that went to people who said they had IPads, they cancelled my entire order, so that everyone I sent them to lost their calendars. I don't know why I did it again this year. The fault really is mine. My friend is going through chemo and I saw the jacquie Lawson advent calendar and thought it would amuse her. I bought one for me too. Guess what, it is impossible to open. Just like last years. And you cannot contact anyone unless, as they suggest, you want to snail mail. Pi toyally agree with all this. I hadnt used them before and sent the advent calendar to 10 people. Not one of them could open it. Total rip off and no one to contact.
