I sent the first jml halogeb oven back because it had a chip in the glass. You need to think about where you are going to put the lid. After an apple crumble fiasco, I've just sold mine on E-bay after keeping it for 3 months and have just bought a Cookworks Signature oven from Argos, which at least heats the food at the bottom as well as at the top and which I rate more highly, although I've lined it with foil to keep the heat in.- Read stuartwilliams0's review (137 words)

I love the JLM Halogen Oven, it's easy to use, can see what is happening inside. Makes great light fluffy cakes, perfectly crispy roast potatoes. But, and a big but, where do you place the lid safely whilst your checking the 'bounce' on cakes, for instance. Because the heat source is in the lid.
Not child friendly, as the heat source is inside the underside of the lid there is nowhere to store it safely whilst you are getting things in and out of the oven. the 'tongs' are cumbersome and not ...- Read Guest's review (150 words)

The cooking times are innacurate on the JML Halogen Oven unless you like your meat rare and it was not fast compared to our conventional gas oven.
The cooking times & temperatures recommended are not accurate.
The instructions say you must use cold water and washing up liquid when cleaning whereas the TV demo uses hot water. Either way it does not do a thorough job in washing out.
All in all it has been a disapointment.
Its very good as an complimentary appliance to the others in your kitchen ie ...- Read June Stoneman's review (102 words)

With the JML Halogen Oven you can see how your food is cooking and because of the timer, it's quite hard to burn your food. it lights the kitchen up in a lovely light too!! it's easy to clean and presumably uses a lot less energy than the cooker. in my opinion it doesnt dry out food as much as the oven either.
In my experience it deosnt really save much cooking time, and of course it takes up worktop space.
definitely worth it- Read macavitycat's review (84 words)

I couldn't live without this little oven. It looks like a big dish with a lid. It cooks everything much much quicker, it's more economical as it's instantly hot.
I only use my cooker over about once a month now - if that.
Highly recommended.- Read AWB1's review (61 words)
