Good Points: Seems to have an extremely reliable wireless connection, Signal strength full all the time no matter where in the house you are. The battery life seems to be between 2.5 hours to 3.5 depending on whether you are just using Microsoft packages or using high performance games.
Machine is very fast to load up, and hibernates within about 5 seconds of hitting the power button.
    Restarts in a similar time.

Bad Points: I have to say that although there appears to be nothing really wrong with the unit, i would say that if you are using high performance games that require a lot of graphics, and power then you tend to find the transformer runs very hot, It may be fine, but I ' m not sure how long that this transformer would last if did a lot of gaming. But when doing normal use like word and excel then the transformer runs lukewarm to warm.

General comments: Toshiba Satellite L300-19Y is very fast extremely reliable. Great sound through the speaker. Fast download speeds. Connects easily to the TV. This machine connects instantly to the network when I turn on the computer, never loses connection, fast download speeds.
A reasonable battery life for use out and about, you have the choice of Power saver which will extend the battery life, but I use Balanced power which means it runs faster but eats more of the battery, but then there is also performance which allows the machine to use all power to its fullest potential but will eat through the battery. But all this is all just a click of a button away.

I highly recommend this unit; it copes with everything that you can throw at it, from high graphics games and office applications.
