Good Points: Cleanliness, traditional Kerala tasty food, host was very helpful, budget stay for houseboat and homestay

Bad Points: Rooms would have been little bit bigger, but still ok for a small family.

General comments: I use to travel with my loving family always. For last vacation we went to Kerala's back water area kumarakom. Kumarakom is a beautiful place with lakes and paddy fields. We had stayed in a budget homestay and houseboat in kumarakom. The b&b name called Coconut Creek homestay and houseboat. Its ideal and budget place for couples, family group especially with kids. Its traditional homestay in kumarakom. We had enjoyed the kerala traditional food from there. It was really mouth watering. Especially the fish dishes. But they serve only kerala cuisine food no other cusine. Some people doesn't like this. But "if we are in Rome be like roman". We asked the host why you are serving only kerala food. They have good reason for there food cuisine. They said so many guest told them like this; "Evey day guest is having their own food so once in a blue moon if they visit the place like kumarakom they want to enjoy the traditional food and culture of them". We also enjoyed coconut creek houseboat cruise through kumarakom, Alleppey lake. It was really a unforgettable movements. More over the host of the coconut creek homestay and houseboat is very friendly with all the guest. If we get a chance to visit to kerala definitely we stay in coconut creek homestay and houseboat kumarakom
