“Misleading advert ”

Written on: 22/02/2014 by tonyhow (1 review written)

I found a holiday advertised to Turkey on the Travel zoo website for £329 + transfers at £20 + luggage at £30 = £379 travelling from BHX on 18th April and was directed to the Qwerty travel website. I phoned Qwerty and was told it was available but the price would be £422 and was told the price on the Travel Zoo website was from Gatwick. Even though it was clear the price was £329 + transfers at £20 + luggage at £30 = £379 travelling from BHX on 18th April on the Travel zoo website. We… Read Full Review

Hi there,

I am sorry to hear you found our advert misleading. I have sent you a direct message asking for a bit more information so that we can have a look into this for you.

Occasionally our suppliers prices go up in the time between the advert being placed and the booking being made. This is out of our control and we can only apologise for this.
I am also sorry that your confirmation showed the wrong number of bedrooms but happy that this has now been rectified.

It is our policy to send out vouchers a week before departure. If you wish to discuss this further please email or call our admin team.

Many thanks,
Qwerty Travel.

Following the response to my review (initiated by Qwerty Travel themselves) I got in contact with their customer services. I have been really pleased with the way in which Qwerty Travel have dealt with my concerns and their overall after sales service. I will be recommending them to friends and relatives..

Thank you very much to all at Qwerty Travel.

“Not the package holiday I expected and disappointing...”

Written on: 03/09/2013

I called Teletext Holidays and made a booking which then seemed to become Qwerty Travel. I wanted a package holiday and in a way it was but all the elements are booked separately and so you have various vouchers for transfer with one company, accommodation with another and rep services with yet another. I had expected a Thompson all-in-one approach and would have been happier with that but you don't know until the paper work arrives and then it is too late. I had a dispute regarding my room… Read Full Review

Hi,

We are extremely sorry to hear about your experience with Qwerty Travel. As a travel agent we use third party suppliers to package holidays together so this is why you would have received various vouchers.

Could you please email your surname and date of travel to us and we can look in to what happened as soon as possible.

Kind regards,
Lisa

“Luggage allowances”

Written on: 08/10/2012

Watch out if you are booking with Qwerty Travel we are 4 people travelling on a package trip so it is not beyond reason to expect that all travel arrangements are made for 4 people, but Qwerty only booked 2 lots of luggage. I have now been told that if I want more luggage it will cost me £45 per person. Flight is with Monarch and their minimum allowance bookable is 20kg so why has qwerty only booked 2 lots of luggage???? The money saving element of this company should work in the customers… Read Full Review

“Wrong flight details”

Written on: 28/09/2012 by DeeceJ (2 reviews written)

Qwerty travel booked flights for my wife and me to fly to Malaga, but when I tried to check-in on line Easy jet didn't recognise our booking. After lengthy phone calls to Easyet and Qwerty, it turned out that Qwerty had given us the wrong reference number AND the wrong flight number (although at first they insisted that they were correct). I'm just pleased that I was able to sort it out before we arrved at the airport otherwise we probbly would have not got on the flight! I certainly wouldn't… Read Full Review
