Good Points: Good quality Video. Nice Photo's too. Easily fits into your pocket. Uses 2 AA Ni MH batteries and SD cards for Memory..

Bad Points: Doesn't have "anti-shake" video. You'll need a steady hand.

General comments: Comes in a Kodak box with all the bits you need - leads, batteries, software CD, pouch, charger and instructions. But no SD Card. Pick up a 2 or 4Gig Card with a better than basic speed. Maybe 80-133X speed. Makes for smoother videos. The Camera has a TINY bit of memory inbuilt. About 1 minute.

The Camera is a bit bigger than a Mobile Phone. About the same as those hand held Casio TV's of a few years ago. Supplied with 2x 2000mAh rechargeable batteries. Get some of the latest 2700mAh for future use. And a charger that takes less than the 12 hours supplied. 1 set should give an hours video.

Nice clear screen. Very simple to operate. You need to install the ArcSoft software to get the best definition on your Computer. But easily connects to your TV in HD for really good quality 720i video. I off-load my Camera onto the DVD hard drive under the TV and that lets you copy to Disc for sharing with the Family.

The Camera works best in full sun. Good on a cloudy day. Not good in twilight. No flash with the camera for photos but the results are good -even under fluorescent lighting.

Choice of HD quality, the best being HD60 (60frames per second) I use HD which uses 30fps. Perfectly good quality that doesn't eat the power and memory.

Play back easily on the inbuilt screen with its own speaker. Display shows battery life and video time used but time left on your card.

You'll need a VERY steady hand with this camera. But it can produce quality Videos.

The Photo's are quite good - even for a 3meg Camera. The ArcSoft software improves your pix dramatically.

It does have a standard TriPod thread underneath.

Its main advantage is it goes easily into your Jeans pocket and you can catch some fun moments without the need to carry a "handbag" that most Camcorders need.

Does not have the versatility of a full size camcorder. Most functions like white balance, focus and exposure are all Auto. You can choose 2x Zoom. And Macro. But for its size you'll get lots of fun and some good quality memories.
