    Bad Points: no bad points so far


    General comments: I purchased the SAMSUNG LE40A786R2 from currys for £174.00, with a 5yr warranty.
    This is the 780 "Blue Ocean" version.
    I think that it is without any doubt that this is definately the best 40" LCD TV on the market (specification wise) at the moment.
    The picture quality on its own freeview tuner is beautiful, very clear and impressive. The contrast is amazing on its highest picture setting "dynamic", aswell as on its lowest setting.
    the 100hz picture feature really kicks in here as there is no motion or image drag/blur.
    The sound is much improves from previous samsung LCD models, as it now has a built in mid range woofer at the back of the tv, so gives decent mid range bass.good treble.
    the TV looks stunning with its glass like blue tint perspex outer frame, it actually looks like real glass.
    The Blue touchscreen LED controls are impressive at the bottom right hand corner of the tv, you can change channels,volume,standby etc..
    I am so happy and very impressed with all the features and functions of this superb LCD tv.
    The picture on SKY HD and Blue ray DVD is simply breathtaking and superb!!!
    Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo wii games look pretty impressive.
    ThisTV has a fast 2.0 USB port at the side so you can plug in your Laptop, internet, mobile phone,MP3 player, digital camera,camcorders etc, and view any photos,files,music etc.. and view them on yr telly..wow !!!

    The remote control is impressive and now has a backlight function, so you can use it in complete darkness to switch the tell on and off!
    Everything about this tv is excellent and very impressive.

    well worth the money, and i think you will find it very hard indeed to find a 40" LCD tv with the exact same spec in any other brand.
