    Good Points: This is a good low budget high end graphics card. It provides alot of bang for your buck and has the added benefit of having 1GB of video memory. Handles almost every game out there at the moment with all settings full whack and AA enabled, bar the select obvious few.


    Bad Points: None of these were a problem for me but for some people may be considered as points worth mentioning. Its quite a large card and the cooling fan does produce a fair amount of noise if its cranked up to keep an over clocked card cooler. Also don't forget you need 2 inputs from your power supply to feed this thing with juice.


    General comments: I upgraded to this card from Nvidia's previous flagship the 8800GTX. I was already prepared for the size of the card and the amount of power it needed as the GTX was similar in those two fields. If im 100% honest there was as much of a gain as I had expected, although the gains were enough to make games like Crysis and Farcry 2 alot more playable. For example, before in Crysis with everything on full i would get an FPS of around 28 and now I get around 40. The difference isn't much, but it is the difference between chuggy game play and silky smooth game play.In all this is a great card for someone who wants modern performance on a budget. For the sake of a few more quid, make sure you go for the 1GB version. Im sure with newer and more optimized drivers will see this card improve alot more.
