    As an architect with 15yrs experience within the construction industry, i would happily recommend Gary Byng joiners and would use again - i had all the windows replaced within my Victorian house with sash/ casement windows to their original spec and was confident with their advise/ site survey and knowledge of sash windows - windows fitted well and were installed professionally, price was very competitive and onsite experience was excellent - my only critism would be having to follow up the order/ aftersales - however a phone call/ visit to workshop resolved issues, and responding to other reply, i would advise generally when commisioning sash windows to ensure you understand their details/ finished specification before ordering windows to ascertain final finished and installed product, ie, architraves/ sills/ beading etc - maybe look at neighbouring houses/ similar style, so issues can be resolved before commisioning joiners - as most window manufacturers only supply + fit windows, so those final finish details which make the difference can be bought/ profiled from local timber suppliers and installed by a good carpenter, rather than relying on window companies.

    i had some sash windows from gary byng and sons and they were perfect fitted s treat and very happy with them and the service, i thought i had to write this as the other guy obviously was untrustworthy

    The quality of the actual Gary Byng & Sons Joinery windows is good. The before service is nothing less than intimidating and the after sales service is non existent. I had windows fitted over a year ago and the job is still not finished. I get no communication from the company. There are now many companies on the market who deal in these areas.

    The service was excellent i had a cad drawing of my stairs within an hour and had the staircase delivered next day, would recommend Gary Byng & Sons Joinery.

    I used Gary Byng & Sons Joinery but havent delivered all the parts to install windows yet. When I called them, the line went dead. So I e-mailed, but so far not answer to emails. In my opinion I have received very little aftersales service, I wouldn't use them again.
