Good Points: Highlight for me was Gareth Gates as Prince Charming he was word perfect on his first night, no sign of a stammer. Fabulous songs and singing from Gareth particularly loved Heaven, Hero and Spirit in the sky.
The audience also agreed with me as there were gasps and cheers every time Gareth entered the stage.
Never knew Gareth could act so beautifully and his expressions when the ugly sisters were trying to pursue him were hilarious.
Bad Points: Bad points, I can say with great honesty I can't think of any, there are none of the annoying he's behind you inuendo.
General comments: Joanna Page makes a very pretty Cinderella and with Gareths handsome looks they make a magical couple. Baron Hardup played by Alistair McGowan is hilarious and we get to see lots of his impressions. Buttons played by Ronn Lucas an American ventriloquist is amazing, and the ugly sisters are the ugliest, funniest most over the top ugly sisters I have ever seen.
There is even real shetland ponies pulling Cinderella's coach.
The costumes and glittering scenery are breathtaking, this is a must see Pantomime and to my mind th best I have ever had the pleasure to witness.
In fact I loved it so much I am going to see it again next week.
