    Good Points: I have loved this iron until recently.


    Bad Points: The base of the generator has just melted and burned my carpet and the plastic off the base is now stuck to my lounge carpet which is only 6 months old


    General comments: After this happened to my Tefal Steam Station 2915, I contacted Tefal customer service, basically they are not interested and say as per my manual I should have bought an ironing board designed to fit this iron. I have checked my manual and there is no mention of an ironing board in it, but regardless of whether the iron was on the floor or an ironing board this should not have happened. I now have a useless iron and a burnt carpet, please beware if you own a Tefal Steam Generator Iron.
