Good Points: Great styling, comfortable, abs, 12v socket for phone/sat nav, storage space & value.

Bad Points: Peugeot are useless, rude, and don ' t care about customers. A few bits on the bike (like the iPod & glasses holder) are really cheap looking and let the rest of the bike down. Full beam is rubbish, doesn ' t increase your distance of vision, just lights up the ground even brighter, can only adjust the beam of light left or right, not up & down.

General comments: Bike arrived at dealers damaged, the headlights were set up for driving in Europe not the u.k. the extras were late as was the bike, the damage is still is not repaired after 2 & half months, because the parts are on back order, and the boot has started to allow water in. wrote to Peugeot head office & got a rather rude letter back, saying yes the bikes do get damaged but it doesn ' t matter because it will repaired in December! also they blamed the dealers for the headlights (even though they was fitted at the factory) and said they think its perfectly acceptable to loose 6 days off work waiting for bike and bringing it back for the correct lights. Didn ' t even say sorry. I think they assume I ' m a teenager instead of the 31 year old with 27 years experience on bikes from motor-x to customs to sports.
Apart from all that, when I did finally get on & ride it, I loved it instantly and wish I had got a maxi scooter earlier in my life. It ' s just so easy to use; the abs works well and inspires maybe too much confidence. It sits comfortably at 80mph and hits its limit about 93mph. the handling isn ' t quite up my k5 gsxr 750 but its very stable. Very good wind protection. Luggage space is very good & with my back box I could easily go away for a week with a pillion. It ' s much more attractive than the Burgman or any other scooter ive seen. I do recommend getting one but I would be very cautious of buying a new one due to the lack of customer care, even the main dealer said they was hard to deal with. Have a try....bet you can ' t stop grinning.
