Stalybridge Train Station has recently undergone a facelift it now has a modern entrance and ticket office. It has a world famous buffet bar which serves real ales and black peas!! Excellent links to Manchester and Yorkshire. Staff pleasant and helpful. For a small station this is an excellent station. It has been recently featured on the One Show and featured in the Oz Clarke and James May TV program. It has good links to both Manchester stations, Victoria and Piccadilly. The only... (read more)
