had this trolley over 12months now starting to brake down, had to replace axel,had two new wheels bearings,new battery lead & now switches off when it feels like as your walking along, service department dont seem to know cause so will cost to have it looked at & repair no help at their end with costs, must be the worst trolley i have had. I've just started playing with the Seniors at my local club and thought 'if you can't beat em join em' so I've bit the bullet and brought an Electric Trolley. I did alot of research on the web and finally went for the Prorider trolley. I've used it a couple of times a week for the past month and have only had to fully recharge it once or twice. Our 4 ball have all had one of these Pro Rider trolleys for the last 18 months. We had Motocaddy and Hillbilly before so we were hesitant going for the Pro Rider. By purchasing 4 trolleys we were able to negotiate a good discount. They have all run excellently and I can see why they are everywhere now. I purchased an electric golf trolley 2011 model & have found that once the trolley was over 12 months old that spare parts are hard to come by &the after sales service terrible. Firstly the axel became faulty & had to be replaced & it took the service dept. four attempts to send the correct part which they initially said was unavailable & out of stock. Brought my ebike a couple of weeks ago. I've used it for commuting to work at least 5 or 6 times so far ( prior to this dodgy weather we're currently having) and I'm wondering why it's taking me this long to decide to get one. Recieved a damaged electric bike,phoned company and was asked to return it,I got a receipt of prove of return,pro rider manager said they did nt recieve it back,even though I had a email to say they did,der lol,we challenged them through our credit card company,as we got a charge back,with all the prove we had,they had no choice but to drop the case,never again would we deal with that company!!!! At first i was a little hesitant because of the high speeds it can get to for a bike but then i realised that you can set it to go slower so its perfect for everyone to use. Recently traded in my old Powakaddy for a Pro Rider golf trolley. Was sceptical at the beginning as I had always heard of Powakaddy and my local pro suggested sticking with them. I purchased a Pro Rider Electric Golf Trolley in April 2012 after deciding my 14 yr old electric Hill Billy trolley was looking rather dated, Oh, what a big mistake that was! Yes we got our money back,we ordered an electric bike for £650 it came damaged so phoned manager up and told us to send it back.he tried to say he never received it,,even though we got a email saying they had received it,so got onto our credit card and got a charge back.he tried to dispute it,but we had photos and prove of sending it back.terrible man,and he supposed to be the manager.would love to get word about so no one buys from this company.

ProRider website shows a picture of a fully assembled scooter being delivered off a ramp from a company vehicle and it also states that Free Home Demonstrations are available. I found this misleading because I thought this meant free delivery and free assembly, however it was only after I made a decision to buy and was in the latter stages of filling out the online sales form did I discover that if I wanted this assembled delivery I would have to pay extra for it. I am the leader of a golf society in northamptonshire and we brought a dozen of these scooters in about a year ago and i must say that the Pro Rider customer service team have been brilliant. A fellow golfer had an accident with his trolley and rang the company to order new parts and to his surprise they sent them to him free of charge even though the accident was his fault. I Purchased my trolley in June 2011 and had to have the battery charger replaced within 2 months. Next the motor was replaced before the wheel clutches failed . The unit had then to be returned due to problems with the wiring . The battery now only lasts 16 holes and they want £79 to replace . I would advise anyone to pay a bit extra for a better quality unit as this is in my opinion a complete waste of money. (read more)

I also purchased a Pro Rider Golf Trolley in April 2012 and it wouldn't work from the onset. When I contacted the company about the problem they were very unhelpful and said that problem was due to 'user misuse! I pointed out that I never had the change to use it, yet alone misuse it! The problem was, in fact, due to a break in the wiring loom, however, Pro Rider refused to give me a full refund. After endless emails I had to resort to involving my credit card company who eventually arranged for a full refund. As the saying goes, if the deal seems to good, it usually is.

Just to balance up the comments about the Pro Rider Golf Trolley I have had mine for almost a year now and as yet have had no problems at all with it and it is used at least twice a week sometimes more. Like many other reviewers I have found it well worth the money.

I've had this bike for about three months now and have completed about 150 troubl free miles, mostly on the local byways and bridleways. It has performed faultlessly, with only cable adjustments needed. For the money I really can't fault it. The sales staff in Loughborough were very helpful - and since the purchase I haven't had to go back to them so can't comment on the after sales service - but I'm quite happy for it to stay that way. Last year I purchased the electric golf trolley from Pro Rider. I have used many golf trolley brands over recent years and been unhappy with them all. The one I received from Pro Rider is brilliant and very light. I have played 2 rounds in one day with no problem and all the accessories they gave me would have cost a fortune in my local shop. Just wanted to comment as it is not often I receive such good service and I only paid £199

I am 22 stone and live in a hilly area.This scooter gets me around with complete ease and power. The value for money is exceptional. The quality of the packaging I received was amazing. It was the best packaged item I have ever received and came in a huge box. It took longer to unwrap all the packaging than it took nto assemble the few parts on the scooter.
If you buy from anywhere else you have more money than sense.

I'm not usually one for writing reviews but thought it would be worth it in this particular case.
I have degenerative Oestoarthritis in both of my knees making it extremely difficult to work even a short distance. I've been considering a mobility scooter for a few months now and have spent a number of hours on the internet trying to find the right model for me - it's a minefield to say the least.

I purchased an Elite scooter from Pro Rider 12 months ago. I am bemused by the other comment relating to the rain. I have used my scooter in the rain many times and never had an issue. I was advised by Pro Rider not to ride through or submerge the scooter in deep puddles as naturally this could cause problems. I viewed their website www.proridermobility.com as my old scooter gave up the ghost. I liked the look of their Elite Mobility Scooter and phoned to enquire. They delivered the next day and they set up the mobility scooter in full and showed me how to use it. I have taken out the extended warranty cover as I have never seen such an excellent back up mobility cover. The scooter cost me £500 and I still can't believe it for a brand new lovely scooter. Which Taylormade Driver is it. I have the RBZ Driver and experimented with the different loft settings for a couple of months, eventually settled for about 12 degrees. I am hitting the ball straighter and longer than I ever have. Along with my RBZ Steel shafted irons which I also bought in 2012 my golf has improved. I actually won a club stableford competition the day after I received the irons, and went on to win the Stableford Order Of Merit trophy for the year. So if it is the RBZ he has persevere and experiment with the loft . I am glad I did.
