    dont rent a place with these. Was a tenant for a year with them and hey were totally useless at getting anything done for us.

    Been waiting to get my bond back after leaving them and now they haven't even got time to speak to me or to return my calls just to let me know the process or whats going on.

    heard many other horror stories, avoid at all costs!

    I've now been through the renting process with Mead, and all way going smoothly until I got to my financial reference. I am self employed, earning a not inconsiderable amount of money.Like a lot of self employed people, I rely heavily on friends and family; most importantly my accountant is my brother-in-law. I phoned them and raised this, and asked for other options. After half an hour on the phone, we were still stuck at 'get your parents to guarantee the rent or pay your rent up front'. I ...
