These people are not worth to deal with. As soon as the contacrt is signed they dont care about anything else. If something gets broken in the house it takes half a year or more for them to do something about it. The communication is so bad, you send them emails they say they havent received anything. They say they would call you back and they dont. Im talking about Belvoir in Cambridge here. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Received a letter today 16/12/09 from my landlord stating Belvoir Norwich has ceased trading, as of last week, nice of them to let me know. I have no idea how this affects my rights I'm on the assumption that they've tried to do a runner

From a landlords perspective, we've found Belvoir Northampton to be a very good agent. They came good for us when problems emerged with our tenants and went the extra mile to quickly get them out of our house and a new tenant in. We've had experiences before where an agent has basically left us to sort the mess out. Belvoir didn't do this - they did the legwork themselves. We'd certainly recommend them to other people with rental properties.

We rented a house through Belvoir Gravesend, only to get a letter from another letting agency one day to find they had taken over the management of the property as Belvoir Gravesend had ceased to operate....they've also done a runner with our deposit money, along with the rest of tenants using them! 3 months on and I'm still waiting for cash back from loss adjustors. Belvoir head office wiped their hands of the matter and have left it to us to sort alone......shoddy all round! Don't use if you v ...

Belvoir Lettings in Peterborough I found to be one of the worst letting agencies I've ever used, any problems such as leaks etc I pretty much had to sort myself of wait 6 months to have them fixed. They have no respect for privacy and constantly broke the law by entering my flat without letting me know. As soon as i handed in my notice they were letting viewings go on without my consent or giving me a matter of hours to get back so I could be there...

I have been on the books of Belvoir Lettings for over 2 years and have never had such bad service in all my life. The staff I speak to are sometimes unhelpful and can be slow to return calls and the way the accounts are run seems poor. I am often having to chase my payments even though my tenant pays on time every month and in the past havent received rent from the agents for over 3 months. I would not recommend them at all.
