I was looking for a Christmas gift for my husband since I was hospitalized and when I got release and couldn't go out and shop when I came across this site. I was looking at the watches which were cheaper than the other sites I noticed there was a note stating that once in stock add standard delivery and would send it via express service to reach in time for Christmas so I ordered it. Having found a watch I wanted to buy my husband for Christmas, I was very pleased to see NH beat the online price of big companies such as Amazon. I ordered the watch on the 17th December. There was no suggestion that it would not be with me for xmas. I received an email on the 18th telling me there had been a "change in lead time". “don't bother if you actually want to receive your item..”

I ordered a watch from here 2 weeks ago.. The estimated delivery is 3-5 working days, their estimations are way off. I emailed them last week 5 days on from ordering my watch to find out it has not even been dispatched, further more THEY HAVEN'T EVEN GOT IT. Apparently they had to order it in from the manufacturer.. ok fair enough i thought (although they still should have let me know this which they didn't), i'll give it to next week so 6 days on from my email and 13 days from my purchase… Read Full Review

Ordered two items which, according to the website were in stock. After a few days of non-receipt, contacted Nigel O'Hara. One of the items was not in stock and they were waiting on the supplier to send it to them. [Didn't think to let me know this!] This was disappointing as they were for a birthday present and it was obvious we weren't going to get them on time. I ordered 5 items from Nigel O'Hara on 28 December 2012 (one from their ebay shop, the remaining items from their website). 3 of the items were despatched quickly ( 2 despatched next day, 1 just over a week later which given the time of year is understandable) and as it's free postage I can't really complain too much. I ordered an item which I had price matched online. The item was showing in stock so I ordered it. I never received the item in time for Christmas, I called Christmas Eve and was told by a female that the item had not been despatched, that she could not explain why, but said that I would be compensated for the delay. Bought my item from this company because they offered a competitive price and next day free delivery for items over £60, as my item was over £60 I expected my order to be delivered next working day, actually I received it 5 days later, 3 days to late for a Birthday present, I sent 2 emails asking for an update and to this day still not had a reply from either of them or an apology for the delay. Watch arrived not properly sized. Display stand damaged and instruction book torn creased and looking very second hand. Watch was unmarked but rest of the items on this limited edition watch and display structure were in a poor condition. It was very well packaged and the transit box etc unmarked. this only confirms the goods must have been damaged at source not during shipment, as outerboxes etc in pristine condition. “False advertising and no refund”

The web sight is great to use, the order and payment was easy. However, they advertised 3-4 days delivery on my selected item, then emailed me more than a week later giving a delivery date of another week. This went by as well. watch turned up fine, on website was offered a gift bag and free gift. the gift bag turned up but no free gift. Have tryed twice to contact the customer services with no reply.The gift is listed on my order and paper reciept with no explaintion as to why its missing. I recently bought Seiko watch online from Nigel O'Hara Jewellers. During the purchase I clicked onto a link which should of facilitated a Watch Strap adjustment service, to ensure that the watch fitted correctly on receipt and save me from having to adjust it myself, or more likely have to pay an additional cost for a local jeweller to adjust the strap for me. I am very disappointed with the service I received. I specified my wrist size and the watch bracelet was made smaller even though the original size was smaller than my wrist! And I am not allowed to return it because it has been adjusted!! When I spoke to them they would not admit they were wrong or offer to help me in any way. Very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend purchasing from this jewelers as personally Ive had a very bad, frustrating experience. The watch I ordered was shown to be in stock, I was later advised however that this was not the case. this was in November.
