I honestly believe this is a fake company! I ordered an item of jewellery which turned out to be a discontinued item to which the company had  confirmed to be me the order had been successfully placed with the supplier. They offered an exchange which I declined and requested a refund. “BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE”

I ordered a Seiko watch which was at a 40% discount and they say if it's too good to be true it usually is. I was told the watch had been ordered in just for me and was not in stock. A chase after 12 days got nowhere so I left it for another 16 days and received further excuses. I then contacted the Paypal resolution centre and received a refund within a few days. I see that Nigel O' Hara is actively flagging all negative reviews on TrustPilot as having no proof of purchase which is a way to enhance their ratings. Nigel O'Hara report all negative reviews on Trustpilot-Even though Trustpilot have been advised of this they continue to allow it. Everyone should persevere, this company should not be allowed to trade, they are criminals(this is just a personal observation, make up your own minds).

I ordered a Withings pulse 02, and I was sent the old version of which I had, so they agreed to take it back, I sent it back in its original packaging and unopened, they took delivery of it on the 12th August. After chasing numerous times for my refund, all they say is it can take up to 28 days! shame they don't wait 28 days to take my money after dispatch! They hook you in with massive discounts then either don't send the product or in my case, sent me the wrong thing after 8 long weeks of phone calls to chase (being fobbed off and lied to) and worrying that I'd lost my money. “Avoid this retailer”

They took payment for a watch they did not have in stock and could not deliver. I had to phone to find out why no delivery and cancelled the order. After six weeks they still have not refunded the money, so we have had to recover the money from the credit card company. When ordering a product, you expect it to turn up - when it doesnt turn up and you cancel the order, you expect the money to be refunded. Nigel O'Hara are by far the worst ever online retailer I have ever used - they take the order, take the money and then when the order is cancelled - they keep the money. My story is much the same as your I ordered on 2nd May emails were pretty much identical to yours. I cancelled 7 weeks later they promised a refund 5- 7 days but did advise in busy periods could take a maximum of 28 days. (Guess with this history all periods are busy for refunds) Any way after 40 days (29th July) of much the same emails and none committal answers I took a much harder approach using 2 separate routes, now 3 days later I had a call directly from Nigel O'Hara Jewellers informing me that my payment was being made today and should be cleared funds within 48 hours. They did also point out that they are not in control of my Bank and that they may take longer to credit my account.

I found Nigel O'Hara via a web search. I then ordered a watch for my husbands birthday, which was in stock and would take 3 - 7 day delivery. Trading Standards recommended If you bought via Credit Card go to your Credit Card Company, and make a complaint ask for a refund under section 75a of the Consumer rights law. Or that I wrote to them telling I was taking them to the small claims court and send it by recorded delivery. Then actually take out a small claims via the court. However living in London they said it may be hard work. So I took their first option, which is being processed. I do agree they should be struck off. I have also Contacted a well know purchasing web site and reported them as that is where I found them.

Nigel O'Hara - OH DEAR! I wish I had read the reviews first! Instead I looked on Google Earth and saw that they run a "proper" shop in N. Ireland. Proper!!! What a trickster! I bought a watch that, it turns out is discontinued - as authorised sellers, they would know this? They would know that there is no stock, at the manufacturers, to order from! They don't deliver and then don't refund- avoid!! I ordered a watch on 09/05/14 after various emails from them saying delivery would be next week, then the following week etc I gave up and asked for a refund on 19/06/14 and received a reply telling me that in busy periods it can take up to 14 days for a refund. I'm only up to 33 days but have had this response today:
' Unfortunately it has recently been brought to our attention that the company we use to process these refunds have made changes to their system. This is something that we have not been informed of, and has resulted in us temporarily being unable to process refunds'
This is utter rubbish and I have now asked my credit card company to make a chargeback; I'm also going to contact Trading Standards tomorrow. I'm sure it would help if others did this as the shop might then be properly investigated

If you paid via Credit Card go to your Card company ask for a refund Under section75a of the consumer rights law. You may well be able to do this with your Bank. The only other option is to send a recorded letter telling them you will take them to the small claims court, however if you do this you will need to follow it through. Good Luck

Firstly the only positive point. My watch finally arrived after 8 weeks and a pay pal non delivery complaint. It is as ordered and I am happy with it. From here on it is all downhill. I have notice that on several review sites this company has raised queries against many negative reviews so they do not count against their rating. Lucky you used Pay Pal, I didn't and 13 weeks later no delivery no refund. I went else where and had it delivered with 5 days. Unfortunately I had to pay for it again without my refund. The Bank are now dealing with the refund under Section 75a of The Consumer Rights Law

Sorry to hear your story. I hope the bank come through for you. Do you not find it amazing that they show a 4* rating and only when you really dig do you find the countless negative reports hidden or under review. My review was selected for appraisal and removed and I was asked for a prohibitive list of proof to get it reinstated. I refused to send my personal details but sent all the correspondence or tickets as they call them and insisted they reinstate it. Once again good luck and I am sorry that they get away with treating people this way.

I placed an order on 26th April. They fobbed me off for a while saying they are trying to get a hold of the manufacturer blah blah! I requested a refund on 2nd June. Still waiting for it. I even rang them up directly and they confirmed I would receive my refund and a confirmation email within the next 24-48 hours. As expected, nothing happened. I have decided to go through my credit card company to get the refund.

I think that's the only way to go with these people. I emailed them again and said I would not be dealing with them any more and I had taken legal advice. I received an email back stating the manager had passed into the finance dept. we will see. My credit card company are claiming this back. Wish you luck.

I would like to echo many reviews on here where this retailer consistently fails to deliver an item they advertise quoting delays with the manufacturer as being the reason. Do not fall for this trick. The low prices are probably designed to get you to place an order (your credit card will be deducted immediately), but the item will most likely not be in stock or it will never be available.
