“Festina Limited Edition Chronomater Watch”

There was no instruction booklet or guarantee in the box itself, some of the links were missing and the contents of the box were all over the place when it arrived. Having read the reviews I was reluctant to deal with them. However gave them the benefit of the doubt. Thought I'd bought a garmin 200 in the sales for £55 a crimbo bargain. “Money taken and goods not arrived for Christmas”

I ordered my goods on the 12th Dec and the money was debited. I have not received my goods despite an assurance from their customer services. It is now looking unlikely that I will receive them in time for Christmas as nothing has been dispatched (as present for my wife) and I'm out of pocket to the tune of £77. Well this reads exactly the same as my complaint ! Unfortunately I cannot get response to my meaasages and no one bothers to answer the phone -!still waiting for a refund on undelivered goods. The worst online shopping experience ever -avoid them like the plague!

I also made a purchase from Nigel O'Hara on the 16/12/14 for a monetary just short of £200.
Other than and online "Your order has been successfully placed window; I have not received anything further (confirmation email or tracking number)
I have emailed customer services, but alas no reply as yet; and also decided to phone. This was annoying in that the phone rang for over 2 minutes, and then belatedly a recorded message also told me the office was closed; and it's trading time was 08.30am-5.30pm Mon-Fri.
Well it's Fri 11.15am 19/12/14 and i'm in London...
NOT HAPPY!

I ordered an item of jewellery which turned out to be a discontinued item to which the company had  confirmed to be me the order had been successfully placed with the supplier. Had a very similar experience with 2 Gorjuss bags that i ordered believing them to be in stock, payment was taken straight away. After 2 weeks of chasing them and not being given a delivery estimate i went directly to Paypal and was refunded within a couple of hours!
Like you i believe that this is just an online site, not a reputable jewellers. They sell goods and take your money in the hope that they can eventually get the goods.......just middlemen!
Will never use them again!!

I ordered a Seiko watch which was at a 40% discount and they say if it's too good to be true it usually is. I was told the watch had been ordered in just for me and was not in stock. A chase after 12 days got nowhere so I left it for another 16 days and received further excuses. I then contacted the Paypal resolution centre and received a refund within a few days. They hook you in with massive discounts then either don't send the product or in my case, sent me the wrong thing after 8 long weeks of phone calls to chase (being fobbed off and lied to) and worrying that I'd lost my money. My story is much the same as your I ordered on 2nd May emails were pretty much identical to yours. I cancelled 7 weeks later they promised a refund 5- 7 days but did advise in busy periods could take a maximum of 28 days. (Guess with this history all periods are busy for refunds) Any way after 40 days (29th July) of much the same emails and none committal answers I took a much harder approach using 2 separate routes, now 3 days later I had a call directly from Nigel O'Hara Jewellers informing me that my payment was being made today and should be cleared funds within 48 hours. They did also point out that they are not in control of my Bank and that they may take longer to credit my account.

Trading Standards recommended If you bought via Credit Card go to your Credit Card Company, and make a complaint ask for a refund under section 75a of the Consumer rights law. Or that I wrote to them telling I was taking them to the small claims court and send it by recorded delivery. Then actually take out a small claims via the court. However living in London they said it may be hard work. So I took their first option, which is being processed. I do agree they should be struck off. I have also Contacted a well know purchasing web site and reported them as that is where I found them.

They don't deliver and then don't refund- avoid!! I ordered a watch on 09/05/14 after various emails from them saying delivery would be next week, then the following week etc I gave up and asked for a refund on 19/06/14 and received a reply telling me that in busy periods it can take up to 14 days for a refund. I hardly think this is reasonable as it takes less time to process the refund than it does to place an order. I'm only up to 33 days but have had this response today:
' Unfortunately it has recently been brought to our attention that the company we use to process these refunds have made changes to their system. This is something that we have not been informed of, and has resulted in us temporarily being unable to process refunds'
This is utter rubbish and I have now asked my credit card company to make a chargeback; I'm also going to contact Trading Standards tomorrow. I'm sure it would help if others did this as the shop might then be properly investigated

If you paid via Credit Card go to your Card company ask for a refund Under section75a of the consumer rights law. You may well be able to do this with your Bank. The only other option is to send a recorded letter telling them you will take them to the small claims court, however if you do this you will need to follow it through. Good Luck
