Good Points: Great design, small and compact in comparison to other models. Good quality pictures. Easy to use without reading through the manual extensively.
Bad Points: Can't think of any off hand.
General comments: Where do I even start? I've had this camera for less than 24 hours, and found it so easy to use. If any references have been made to the manual, it's purely for knowing how to play with each feature in detail, but the layout and functions are pretty accessible without having to flick through numerous pages.
Considering it's effective pixels value is in the 2.1m range, the photo quality is exceptional. The autofocus features, combined with the optical and digital zoom of 7.5x, this camera can go no wrong. The additional macro capability allows closeup pictures to be as accurate as using a magnifying glass on the subject in question, acheiving closeup portrait shots.
The additional picture effects such as sepia and black and white are an added bonus, although this can be done on your photoshop software.
The photostitch software is a great bonus to a top product. Creating a panoramic photo could never be so easy. Smooth transitions between pictures is faultless.
I have been looking for a particular camera to fulfil my needs and budget, and opted for the IXUS 330 for its price value, and i'm very pleased with the result.
