    I bought the Nikon Coolpix 2500 camera when it first came out and I loved it. Great pictures. The swivel is so great that I am very surprised that Nikon has not continued with the same frame but with more advanced technology. Taking a picture of yourself, with friends, is great with the swivel because you are able to center yourself on the viewfinder. Came in handy when traveling alone and taking self pics of me and Americas landmarks! I would love for this camera to keep the same... (read more)

    The Nikon Coolpix 2500 is an excellent Camera for general use, Picture quality as good as I've seen from a Digital camera, battery seems to last a long time also.
    Would recommend this Camera to anyone wanting to move to Digital photography, bought mine from Dixons for £150, don't pay more. (read more)

    Swivel lense wonderful.. especially to take self photograhs :). Image quality is GREAT. Long battery life. Nice looks and Compact! No manual view finder. Movie clip quality is PRETTY BAD. Night photographs don't come decent enough . Bit expensive so value for money is less i feel. Flash could have beem more powerful. (read more)

    The Nikon Coolpix 2500 camera is nice and compact and very pocketable, its battery life is excellent.Outside shots come up very good but indoor shots prone to redeye (not a problem with paintshop pro or adobe photoshop software).It has loads of options exposure macro etc, more than enough to keep the average photographer happy.It takes 15 seconds of movie without sound also.Get a bigger memory card(compact flash)and this cameras results will keep you happy.     Does anyone notice or have problem with this camera at bright day light shooting? I have seen problem with two out of two. When tried to take picture in bright day light and I mean very sunny day, the aperature just close completely and I always ended up with a completely black picture.
